i think alot of people think of the Horrors as this little fashion band because how they were marketed on the first album, but that was more their label at the time. the new album see's them as getting away from that, this first album is great, and the second one is just as good, They're not to hot live, musically i mean, but on record i think they're an amazing band, just short of genius.

the horrors have acknowledged that we the people wrote my brother the man and that this is lifted straight from it, as someone said further down. they've credited them on the album and on the single, so stop getting angry everyone. it's not like they've tried to hide it under the rug or anything. this is just a different take on a great old song. think of it as paying homage to them :)

I still feel his Faris' voice is a lot more like a cross between the lead singer of the furs and Ian curtis especially in the latest album. Yes there are a few similarities to Joey Ramone not just physical height (faris is 6'6" joey 6'3") but the type of music they are into. Both men are influenced by that music in very close ways -joey grew up with it when it was new though- If Joey still was around, I'm sure he'd find a way to meet these guys but I'm not sure how well they'd mesh exactly .
