  • Amazing

  • @AboodiMSA That's kind!

  • Great improvisation and sound.

  • @365d24h60m Thank you. I hope there was no improvisation there, and that I played what Einaudi wrote!

  • @HankJDog Well, there are lots of videos of them here!

  • @PSearPianist I judge by your reply....you would have made for a gifted politician..... :-)

  • you play this beautifully. the dynamics in your playing are amazing!

  • @Ryano526 Thanks - I am pleased that the dynamics came through on my less than perfect recording equipment!

  • WOW YOU PLAY AMAZING!!!

  • @AlboyCF Thank you very much!

  • @PSearPianist no thanks ;) it's the true

  • non e einaudi

  • @thefradevi Che è corretto. Il video mostra l'esecuzione musicale Phillip Sear di Einaudi!

  • @thefradevi smetti di drogarti.

  • Gosh, this piece seriously just makes me want to cry.

It's so beautiful as is the composer.

I am seeing him very soon in London, I honestly could not be more excited for anything.

  • @yazminthestrange That is indeed exciting for you - I hope you enjoy his concert!

  • Which Piano do you play on?

  • This version of Le Onde is exactly the same as Ludovico's and has same feelings and expressions.

    Brilliant.

I have just started to learn the piano at 26.

Hope i would play like you someday.

  • @pradeep200417 Thank you! I am glad you like it and wish you every success in your piano study. It is never too late to start. I play a Kawai KG2D grand.

  • @PSearPianist I hope someday I can get a Grand, but for now I have the Yamaha Clavinova 340.

  • @KRlSTOFlK Who knows!

  • I play the Piano, self taught and I am slowly trying to learn this peice xD

I am failing majorly though but oh well, time will help

    Your version is brilliant

  • @holpro123 Thank you for that. Keep working at it. As they say: 'per ardua ad astra'!

  • amazing piece

  • @Runnerduck16 Yes!

  • otiima esecuzione...bravo!

  • @anvy82 Thank you!

  • Отличное исполнение!

    Мне нравится музыка Людовика Эйнауди.

    Вы молодец!

    Данил.

  • Thank you!

  • I also have video of this track, but going to upload this beautiful song even better.

    Erika.

  • It is certainly a piece worth working on!

  • You play very well :-) Congratulation!

  • Thank you - and sorry for delay in responding!

  • i started playing piano 3 days ago at the age of 29 and i am now thinking of giving up. You play so well, i really don't think i will ever be able to play like that. Really good to watch and hear you.

  • Don't give up after 3 days!!!! I have been playing for over 45 years - but there are children of 8 who could probably play this (not difficult) piece well. Some people, in particular, pick pieces by ear really quickly and you will find plenty of videos of people who say they have been learning only six months playing quite respectably!

  • davvero bravo! questo brano l'ho fatto anche io insieme ad altri di einaudi... è un artista davvero bravo... ancora complimenti per la splendida esecuzione!

  • La ringrazio per il tuo commento molto gentile!

  • very well played

  • Thank you!

  • hi, just learning to play the piano, only been playing for 6 months and know i have a long way to go, pieces like this encourage me to learn, i am 44 yrs old and find playing difficult but rewarding, have most of einaudis music, truly beautiful, you play this as well as i have heard it anywhere else, keep on posting these videos, have you tried playing monday from the album divenire ? this is another beautiful composition.

  • Thank you for your kind comment. I'm glad you are enjoying playing the piano - you will get a lot of pleasure from it. I don't know 'Monday'. I am waiting tor a consolidated compilation to be reprinted by Ricordi - all the pieces I have posted were played from a library volume which I have returned!

  • Truly amazing, professional, inspirational.. the list could go on:)

Thank-you for sharing your talent with everyone, hope to see more brilliance soon!

    :) x

  • Thank you very much for your kind comment! I can't promise brilliance, but I'm sure there are some more videos to come from me!

  • Bravo ! Beautifully played.

  • Thank you!

  • Do you play it with dotted rhythm. The published score is not dotted rhythm but I think Einaudi played it with dotted rhythm. Am I wrong?

  • Thanks for your comment. I played it exactly as it appears in the printed score (there may be more than one version of this), but referred to Einaudi's own recording to check nuances. Apart from tempo (maybe) I think my performance approach differs little from his.

  • wonderful interpretation. Thanks.

  • wonderful!

  • Thank you!

  • This is really beautiful.

I wonder why there are so few comments.

Could listen to it all day long.

    GREAT JOB.

  • Thank you. I think there were over two hundred other versions out there before I did this one which is why so few people seem to have looked at it!

  • Makes me want to sit on the shore and look at the waves. Thanks.

  • Thank you. It is certainly evocative.
