I'm surprised they didn't note how "light-echoes" through interstellar gas-clouds are like an MRI image; taking "slices" of infrared light as it travels or "echoes" through those clouds.
It's fascinating how astrophysicists make clever use of physical properties of matter & light to explore and understand vast regions so far from our grasp.
These videos perform great service: educating the populace and promoting the cause of science.
