@knowledgeiswhatsup Changes in technology, music styles, and business changed music.
The Moog synthesizer change music as it provided more sound choices. Blues-based music became more popular with bands such as Cream, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin coming to the forefront.
I remember looking out our front window waiting for my dad to come home from work -in his '69 GTO while my mom was making dinner. This song was on and I was 3 yrs old.
Few bands could reproduce the sound they got in the studio live and the Hollies could nail it every time, truly the best of the british invasion to reach US shores.
this is to rickysbestgirl. Allan Clarke retired in 1999 and I believe that it was due to some problems with his voice. As far as I know, he doesn't perform at all anymore.
Another song from one of the very best from the sixties, from either side of the ocean. These guys were the ultimate live performers. Bobby Elliott is great on the drums and Allan Clarke is just an amazing singer. My favorite group from the 60's.
they were not all there but rhe guitar player was there and their performance was the greatest. I never thought that i would be so lucky to see them live.
that's one tight act...

Could it be a real live recording???? No lip-synching!? You can actually hear him singing. That alone makes this phenomenal

Too cool. A couple of 50's Gibsons: a Les Paul Custom and a Les Paul flametop. These guys had great taste in guitars too.
