I watched this version for years (I'm a yank). Like Blade Runner, it was weird for me to see the real one. I'm really liking it. Please have mercy tho, like you watching the yank version for the 1st time and hating it, so did I the real one at 1st. And for the record, imo this is the best car movie ever made, period. It stuns me on various lists that this film is often not included, or low on the list. No CG, no fancy editing. The real deal. Nothing touches it. See you on the road skag!!

@craabppl this is going to shock you, but a recent Muscle Car article on the Mad Max car in Australia revealed that the sound that the interceptor made is actually recorded off a V8 Hemi. I don't have the magazine here to quote off it but they tracked down a couple of people who messed with the cars, the pursuit 302 ran harder than max's pursuit 351. the HQ LS was a really well looked after car, all original and very straight, they ran it through trees to give it the dinted look
