OK I tried this and it smells like SHIT.. I dont mind smells at ALL but this was so srtong it smelt almost like iron..along with a shitload of chemicals. Why didnt she mention this ?

Hi emily:D I use the revlon colorstay and have been for i think around 5 or so months but im kinda thinking my skin is getting annoyed by it.i seem to be breaking out a lil more than normal (im 16) and i have redness in my skin alot of it unfortually i have combo skin mostly oily and i hate it bc at school its hard to go fix it should i try this? or should i maybe try just the liquid photo ready..maybe try a different foundation brand all together?? @Mazymaeness Hi, just a quick tip I thought of when reading your comment, make sure you clean your skin really well after wearing the colorstay. Use a toner and several small cotton balls to clean off any excess that may be left after cleansing your skin. I was breaking out from the colorstay foundation, but then I realized that I needed to cleanse more thoroughly and use a toner to really clean out my pores.

Hoping you can help me.. I am *very* pale, to the point that I can't find foundations light enough. Do you know of any type of light cream/primer/liquid/whatever that can be mixed with foundations to make them lighter? I've seen that sort of thing on videos from UK gurus, but none from US gurus. @Ashlmd I would recommend looking into MAC Face + Body in White. I'm also too pale for every foundation that I've ever tried. Mixing the White with light foundations may work for you!! Hope this helps :)

@CookieBear99 neutrogena foundations also tend to have more yellowy tones, and loreal has a range of different undertones too. and if you look carefully you can find some more yellowy covergirl ones too :) (lol i have the same problem as you!)

@CookieBear99 neutrogena healthy skin has medium coverage but is buildable and they sell nice concealers to go with :) I'm personally not a huge fan of loreal foundations because i have large pores but but if you already have smooth-ish skin they're nice, coverage is medium to heavy depending on which one you get.

I have relatively skin, and not too many blemishes, and the Revlon photo ready is the best foundation I've ever used. Most foundations just make my skin look dry and dull, but revlon photo ready brings some life back to my skin. I do agree it isn't for everyone though, my friend tried it and it looked horrible on her (she has oily skin)

@xxxHopeMariexxx MUFE HD is, at most, medium coverage. You'll need an extra concealer for redness, acne, dark circles, and acne scars. I have texture problems so I didn't like it. From what I can gather from your post, I don't think it'll work for you either. I like their matte velvet foundation instead. Hope that helps!
