  • Isn't that a bit silly?

The audience was "confused" by the sequels due to poor exposition in the narrative.

24 had lots of "grey areas", like collaboration with villains, twists etc., and no one was terribly confused by that (except when the script sucked).

  • How old is this?

  • The matrix owes more to Philip k dick, Ridley Scott, William Gibson, anime, John woo, the bible, the Koran, buddism, simulacra and simulation than some raving loony black woman who claims they ripped her off. All these things mentioned existed before her supposed script so maybe they could all sue her. It's bull get over it the wachowskis never once tried to hide their inspirations.

  • I want someone to tell me what it is :(

  • Great find! The Wachowskis NEVER give interviews.

  • @DoubleTalkingJive Yeah, I've just seen a few things on the Matrix dvds and their commentary on the Bound dvd.

  • love the TOOL shit

  • @PrankCallTerrorists Alex Grey used by Tool :D

  • @elheadkickio Look for Tool (band) gear as well, Alex Grey does most of their artwork.

  • you are listening to

    double-u double-u double-u

    dot intregirl naked

    dot org

man integral is an awkward word to say

  • The best thing about the Matrix Trilogy is that it is wildly open to interpretation without being too confusing. As many have commented you can take it on as many levels as you'd like or as few as you'd like without robbing the story of anything. That, in and of itself, is a remarkable achievement. Some see a purely political statement, some see a movie dealing solely on epistemology, while others see a movie dealing with consciousness. It all works in some way. They are a prism in many aspects.

  • @bl0ke I get upset when people say Revolutions wasn't as 'good' or 'philosophical' as the first. I think that the Trilogy as it progressed in story, progressed in meaning and philosophical and religious significance. Revolutions is probably my favorite movie of the Trilogy and quite possibly, ever because there's so much meaning behind it but it's very esoteric.

  • theres really not much meaning behind the matrix, other than it being a representation of the world we are truly living in

  • thanks for uploading this conversation!

  • @elheadkickio it is by alex grey and there is a painting from it but it really originated as a vidcap from Tool's video: Parabola

  • This theif sounds like a DAMN FOOL. like he's high on melanin.

  • the pic is from the song parabola by tool

  • where is this picture from? I really like it and would love to have a high-res copy.

  • @radauto1 it's from the tool video parabola , you can download a hi res video of it off a torrent site or buy it...

  • @radauto1 it's from the tool video parabola (done by alex grey) , you can get it on dvd or torrent it .

  • @radauto1 It's by the artist Alex Grey it was used in a Tool video.

  • @radauto1 Watch the Tool - Parabola video, you'll see the whole animated work at the end of the video, instead of the picture only;)

  • @radauto1 Look for Tool (band) posters, Alex Grey does most of their artwork you might find something you like...

  • @radauto1

That' s actually a frame took out of Tool' s "Parabola" video clip. You can see this animation at the end of the clip.

  • @radauto1

It is the Cover art for Dr Strassman. DMT The Spirit Molecule.

    Fantastic Book by the way

  • It's about robots versus kung fu.

  • Looks like the Lawnmower Man.

  • Larry Wachowski is full of shit. he stole the script.

  • @eeedel yea ... from Sophia Steward's "The Third Eye"

  • @psilocyberspaceman ... nooo, It was originally stolen from Megazone 23! (Just joking...)

  • Yes he did...can't believe they gave you thumbs down...fuckin' internet trolls...

  • prove it

  • its BEEN proven. The original writer just got paid off millions of dollars. Look it up yourself.. this is the internet.

  • so you have no proof and you ask others to prove it to themselves? wow you're delusional and you need to see a shrink

  • i didnt SAY i didnt have proof, i simply said look it up yourself. im not going to be your PERSONAL google search. if you dont want to look it up and blindly believe what you want than thats your prerogative.

Im not going to hold your hand like some baby about it. if you want to continue blowing the wachowski brothers(well, brother & sister) for their plagiarizing then go for it. Have fun.

  • i couldnt find anything. extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, it's not my JOB to believe you and you're an idiot for citing google as a source, you live your life by google search?

  • yeah, i guess i shouldve pointed you in the direction to a STONE TABLET for your information. get over yourself.

  • your original post has a negative score for a reason, you're a BS'er and no one believes you, go hide in your google cave and live life through the internet you poor fledgling.

i won this argument, no proof provided so im done and happy i have a victory :)

  • Thats funny, 4 people all on this SAME VIDEO agree with me, nice going using a thumbs down to delegate whether something is true or not. Moron.

  • not to mention that google is the most used search engine on the planet for looking up information.. if you werent able to find anything that doesnt negate the fact that its true, it just means you suck at the internet. if you hate google so much why are you on youtube? they do OWN IT, after all.

  • it sounds like you enjoy blowing yourself, have at it kid

i still won, theres no proof anywhere

  • you didnt "win" anything. thats like saying a basketball team "won" because it didn't bother looking at the scoreboard.

  • @eeedel Actually, it's been officially released that the whole thing was a false hoax and she herself claimed that she had nothing to do with the Matrix Trilogy,.

  • @sickness324 if thats true how is it they paid her off? doesnt really add up. do you have an article I can read this information from?

  • sdaf

  • Great photo to go along with the conversation.

  • Thanks. They're all by Alex Grey.

  • yea.. thats right. keep doing that

  • The three movies are very complex and have many levels of meaning, and I agree with Mr. Wilber; the last few minutes of the 3rd one really tell the most important aspect of the whole story (maybe not the EXACT part he's talking about). Well, that and the part where Neo decides he's not going to take shit from Smith.

  • @Nofate1313

I disagree, I think the matrix is a very simplistic analogy of the world and society we live in

  • Great interview, hopefully more people will get curious about Ken Wilber.

    Alex Grey, awesome paintings.

  • And to expand, critique, add to, subtract, revise and augment Wilber's ideas and feed the world much needed originality.

  • And to expand on, critique, add to, subtract, revise and augment Wilber's and inttegral ideas & feed the world much needed originality as suggested by many in and out of ivory towers

  • yes, curious, rather than devotional

  • hey i was thinking about uploading this conversation. very insightful.
