The other day i was listening to some binaural beats for lucid dreaming, i feel asleep but woke up and couldnt move and chose not to open my eyes but i still felt like i was dreaming. i just layed there but in my mind i was walking around in my room and doing crazy things like removing walls and stuff! when i woke up, i felt super high like i just smoked a ton of weed!! crazy shit!
Ancient civilizations used this drugs, the mayans, Egyptians, etc. but it is said the pyramids were a product of DMT's influence. This natural occurring drug opens up your mind and also helps make you more of a lucid dreamer. This drug is very powerful, and most of our culture today religions, wives tales etc people can argue come from an influence of DMT in the past. Please study this VSAUCE
I'm a lucid dreamer. But vsauce have you heard of the most highly psychodellic drug on earth? It's called DMT and it is illeagal, but many studies are being conducted on this matter. DMT is highly illeagal but we use it every night as we sleep. It helps create dreams and are inside every living thing. DMT can be used, and many people have the same result. A higher being( or their concious) tells them many things even the greatest scientist today wouldn't understand. It is said ancient civilizat
I sometimes have the same dreams, what does that mean? And how does our mind know what we will do later in our day?(and give dreams about it?)(dayzavu)
The first time I had a lucid dream I was scared so I tried to get out and in the dream I was in the car. So I tried to reach the handle to escape but it felt like something was forcing me from grabbing the handle but eventually I got the handle and left the dream.
everything you need to know about dreams and why you have them: you go 2 sleep, unconsciousness gets rid of old shit from previous day, consciousness picks up on it, says what the fuck, and voilá, you have a dream.
i once had a lucid dream but it didnt quite work out, i wanted to fly over a mountainrange but everyrhing went white and i woke up in the middle of the night
@kace842 Everyone dreams, people who wake up not knowing that they had one means that your brain has kept you from remembering it ever happening. The reason for this is because some dreams feel so vivid that it looks just like reality, so your brain prevents you from knowing about it so you can tell the difference between the real world and the dream world. If you remembered every singe dream you ever had, you would go insane.
I always have dreams of T-Rexes chasing me down my neighborhood.... and I almost never lucid dream because I can't remember in my dreams to try to control stuff around me!
i remember my last dream : i was watching youtube then my screen got yellow and then the gravity start goes to 0% and then run and in my walk way there was satan going to catch me or jump on me , BUT i runned faster and then i jumped .
I had a dream I was flying arround and getting away from people who were trying to kill me cause I could fly. That's deffinaly preparing me for the real world... jk this was awesome!
@vsauce I am sitting in MaxP at the University of Chicago and stumbled across this video and OMG there's where I am! :oD What a great surprise! I didn't know you went here! What year did you graduate?
I am not a gay but tonight i dreamt about me and my friends being gang raped by Giants. I was injured and couldn`t move and then a Giant appeared and started ass raping me. My friends didn`t pay attension and continued to work on my wound.
After that i changed perspective and became one of those friends.
And the Giant returned with his buddies and this time every one of us was raped, so changing perspective didn`t help.
I seem to have lucid dreams about 50% of the time i can acutally remember my dream, and if i dont have a lucid dream they seem to only last a very short amount of time
@ThePeregrinestar This happens to me as well. It's also the only time I have any control over what happens. Do you find that you remember those dreams more easily?
Some people dream the future, some people relive in exact sequence of past events, some people can control their dreams, some people cannot dream. Our dreams are a huge mystery, theres no conclusive evidence of what a dream really is. I like to believe dreams are something God gave us to help us almost like a gift, and that He might show us things in our dreams that we could not see in reality. I love dreaming!
@Aquabrandon44 that happens! its hardly as frequent as yours, as i usually have the dream a week before it happens and then also it only happens like once a month or two.
I wonder if it's possible to interact with the subconscious during sleep Things that are hard for us to remember, maybe language or solving equations with ease.
I've had lucid dreams before. They are loads of fun :P I remember in one of them I was at my old middle school or something and I was naked and during the dream I realized wait, this is bullcrap, I'm dreaming. Then I had full control of my dream. Good times.
dopaminergics and antipsychotic medication witch affects dopamines can cause sleep walking without conciousness and perception of reality, good infos and theory mr sauce but reality is much much more intense
a slight dose of atropine and believe me you will remember your awaken-dream without sleep paralysis even with short term memory and terible loss of dopamines witch cause your body to weight tons u will get the auditory-visual hallucinations you get in rem but mixed up with reality is always a horrible experience its better to forget because the 3/4 of your dreams are dark and deep , i had woke in sleep paralysis twice and is awfull experience i was internaly screaming cheers
this is all very simple. no need to make a video about it. we dream so that other people can hack into our dreams and plant weird stuff and all. there was even a movie about it. educate yourselves!
One time, I was dreaming of changing my clothes and in the middle of it I woke up and I was literally changing my clothes.. I'm like:O_O then one time I was dreaming of writing something when i suddenly woke up my hand was in the writing position. I totally freaked out.
One time, I was dreaming of changing my clothes and in the middle of it I woke up and I was literally changing my clothes.. I'm like: O_O then one time I was dreaming of writing something when i suddenly woke up my hand was in the writing position. I totally freaked out.. 0.o
I did the thing where you wake up and can't move only one time. I was fully aware I was awake but couldn't even open my eyes. I thought I was in the final moments of my life. It passed after a few seconds of course but I really hope it never happens again.
I had a strange night one time in which i was doing something very strange during my sleep. Basicly, it started when I began to wake up and realising my arm was moving towards my windowcil next to my bed. I was so tired i thought i did not get the energy to open my eyes BUt my hand some how moved to my watch, picked it up and placed it on the table next to me! Just before i woke up the next morning, i had another "sleep action" where my hands literaly crawled around my neck and woke me!
@TheJkf98 so i am a nerd to explain this but the reaseon you cant move is because when you are in r.e.m sleep you body is commpleatly paralyzed when you wake up during rem sleep sometimes the signals of waking up does not reach the muscles and they stay paralyzed but there is a disorder where you sleep walk during r.e.m
@TheJkf98 that is sleep paralysis my friend, usually happens when you are awoken during the REM state, your lucky you didnt start hallucinating when that happened, that generally goes hand and hand with sleep paralysis.
I got pretty good at waking up from a bad dream and going back to sleep and changing the outcome before it went bad. Havent done that in a while though.
I haven't had nightmares since I was like 8 cause I'm always completly aware that I'm dreaming. Whenever my dreams get a potentially scary I just sort of ride along and see waht my brain comes up with :)
Scientists have developed a way for others to see your dreams! The program picks up your dream and converts it as a Youtube video compilation for all of us to see. For instance, if you are dreaming about an elephant doing some tango, the progman might show us a youtube video where an elephant moves around a lot (unless there actually is a video on Youtube where an elephant dances, because the program would pick it up as the most relevant to the dream), isn't that cool?!
I have hit extreme fatigue i.e. no sleep for 48 hrs, living on a couple of hours sleep for a couple weeks and find i can still get dreams but instead of bizarre/odd its more as if i never did sleep and just dreaming about me working or chatting to the guys i know.
Whats worse is i can actually remember these dreams, so far fingers crossed i haven't merged reality with dreamality and embarrassed myself.
What is it called when you have a dream that later on you feel like it happened already (Like in my case I remember at least 2/5 of this happening, say you had a dream later that day you had let's say ... math quiz. You dropped the quiz on the ground on accident and you froze for a second thinking that this happened before) (Sorry if it didn't make any sense)
I do Lucid dream a lot. I say a lot, i've been doing it for about two years and have only had 33. Lucid dreaming is a lot harder to accomplish than you'd think it is. And the hardest part about it is not waking up and not slipping back into a normal dream state. It's infuriating when (and it still happens to me now) I do a reality check and realise I'm dreaming, but then I become aware of my body and wake up without having time to spin back into the dream :(
Hi, I'm doing a project on dreams for an essay at school, and I was wondering if I'd be able to use your video in my presentation? It's by far the best on Youtube, and I didn't want to use it without your permission. If not, that's fine, but it would be nice :) Thanks
When I was about 7 I had a dream where I woke up and fell down the stairs. I woke up and the SAME EXACT THING happened... what would that be? I am not lying, it happened the same way it happened in the dream. Oh and I can lucid dream sometime to!
I get a lot of lucid dreams but it lasts very short and your consciousness is there, it isn't as "good" as you are awake, so you won't do lots of things you would actually if you were daydreaming.
I hate doing this but can u guys come to my new channel? It's hard starting something if no one sees ur videos so please check my videos out just type in thehoneysauce in the YouTube search bar and it's thehoneysauce #1
@Flamingechoes japanese scientists have already developed technology that yield vague images by using patterns of signals in our brains as a 'code' with corresponding shapes and figures
@RespectFalseIcons I saw that video the other day. I was like I wonder what this video is all about and than I watched it and I was like OMG there really doing this??? and I was like I liked that video for multiple reasons. XD
@vsauce also my dreams have been turning into de javu I can't spell it anyway I'm sure they were something I've seen before but it happens.can u help?
@vsauce I've been having the same exact dream a lot lately so I'm not sure wats going on the dream is a horror dream so maybe it has something to do with anxiety???
@vsauce Funny, I'm always lucid dreaming when I sleep, and sometimes I'm not sure . I think with myself " Am I dreaming ? " I usually can change my dreams ( while i'm on them ) by closing my eyes and repeating the word in my head or think of a picture , however when I open my eyes I might continue dreaming or accidentally wake up, by accidentally opening my eyes on reality. But usually I remeber some parts of my dream , but usually in static pictures , like photos of my dream on my head.
a kucid dream i have that alot i remeber having them but never remember what actually happens in them otherthan that...i have also had dreams that involve something realistic and then it happens the next day and then feels like deja vu but actually it wasnt cause it was originally from a dream....;p
Also when I realize I'm actually dreaming I try and wake myself up and it works after awhile also I wake up then fall back asleep I dream the same thing again!
So I lucid dream a lot! But I don't wake up and can't move I can't move in my dream like if I try to start running I can't and I sleep walk a lot I had a dream I was taking a shower and I woke up standing in my shower, also when I was little I used to have a dream where this monster was chasing me then I would hide and he would always find me then I would wake up.
That "mind conscious but you can't move your body" thing has happened to Shane Dawson. And have you ever had a really terrifying dream where some shit is chasing you or whatever, and then something suddenly clicks and you realise your dreaming so you try to make yourself wake up?
Dude how do you cover the subject of dreaming while COMPLETELY ignoring massive role that DMT plays?
.
That's like teaching someone chemistry 101 while completely leaving out the whole damn periodic table! You just ignored a MASSIVE part of what dreaming is, and, the most interesting part of dreaming, by far.
your very smart ,whether or not its your knowlege or research ,its in ure memory banks now so im just saying good work but could you try a video about memory, this is what happens to me ,ill be in a convorsation with my girlfriend, maybe texting and she would reply something to me them i would read it ,press reply and forget what she wrote and sometimes when she replies to me i forget what i said before hand, could you explain this ?
The other day i was listening to some binaural beats for lucid dreaming, i feel asleep but woke up and couldnt move and chose not to open my eyes but i still felt like i was dreaming. i just layed there but in my mind i was walking around in my room and doing crazy things like removing walls and stuff! when i woke up, i felt super high like i just smoked a ton of weed!! crazy shit!

It is very fun but short.

MsSexyemogirl666 3 weeks ago
Dude how do you cover the subject of dreaming while COMPLETELY ignoring massive role that DMT plays?
.
That's like teaching someone chemistry 101 while completely leaving out the whole damn periodic table! You just ignored a MASSIVE part of what dreaming is, and, the most interesting part of dreaming, by far.
