Rest in peace WOTLK, World of Warcraft was never the same when Cataclysm came and that was when things went from bad to worse when this year's BlizzCon unveiled Mists of Pandaria. WoW died with Ulduar and Arthas, signalling the end of well-made content by Blizzard.

god i loved this raid, every week a little time for me and my friends to raid together and have a shitload of fun, we laughed all over the raid yet it was hard as hell and the feeling if you killed a hard boss together with your team... i guess there are only few things better in life than having fun and making progress with friends... true story..
for me the thing that make this music so epic, is the fact that this is the first music you hear when you actually get iside ulduar (not the outdoor with leva, xt,...), this music was like "now you see the real deal with bosses like mimi , yogg , alga"

All you bitches crying about how cataclysm is worse than wrath of the lich king, people complained that wrath wasnt as good as crusade and crusade wasnt as good as vanilla. @hfdpayner While "bitches crying" wouldn't be my choice of words, it's true that people have been complaining about expansions "ruining the game" for as long as there have been expansions. In spite of that, the game has survived three x-pacs and doesn't seem to be dying...
With that said, Ulduar: best raid in the game. WTB more complex instances with lots of bosses, lots of story, and great music.
After Ulduar the game just got progressively worse in every aspect: Dungeonfinder, Free epic raid sets from 5-man dungeons, doing the same raid 4 times a week (10 / 25 / HC10 / HC25)... etc etc...
From Classic to Ulduar, then 1 month of Cataclysm - which made me quit for good.
@cr4yv3n I hope they really make it, patch 4.3 with 8 bosses seems to be boring... They wanted to do another raid for 4v3 but cancelled it (something with twilight void or so, I dont know how its called in English), so my only hope is that they make a nice raid like Karazhan...
And yes, anything from tbc or wotlk was better, I feel that they have to improve cataclysm.
Are there any places to download all of these pieces? Like the gunship battle in ICC, and other pieces, like this, that don't appear on the soundtrack.
@ArtIsGood4TheSoul It is possible to unpack all of the game's music from the game's data files if you wish to listen to a particular track. Do some research on MPQ archives.
This single greatest raid I have even been in, ICC, BWD, Naxx, Bot, Kara, Nothing gave the epicness of Ulduar. The bosses, the hard modes the story, algalon and above all the music, 2 years on and I still can't get this music out of my head. This was the only WotLK master peice and forever will be remembered as the best thing to come from wrath. The only thing I would like to know is the vocals on the choir versions, what are they,

@DieGoetterdaemmerung * for the greater good * He believes he is doing good for azeroth by removing anyone able to wield magic, magic is very powerful and he sees the mortals of azeroth are becoming -too- powerful via magic means among other things. He does want to remove any living being that wields magic, but not for the sake of death or destruction but for the sake of azeroths future.

I know some people say: "Dude, Arthas had to come to an end, look at the bright side, cataclysm will own wotlk". Well, i also know they have plenty of unfinished lore bosses etc, etc, but i think Arthas was the best of them all. All hail the king! And may he ever rest in peace.

@bu3allash ur wrong wotlk made the game worse ;p ulduar, music and story were only cool things about wotlk, but gameplay sucked, cataclysm is ok, better than wotlk thats for sure.

All you bitches crying about how cataclysm is worse than wrath of the lich king, people complained that wrath wasnt as good as crusade and crusade wasnt as good as vanilla. How about this - you have 2 choices. Either you stop playing the game that you dont enjoy and stop pouring money down the toilet, or you start doing arena where the biggest factor determining success isn't whether or not other guild members turn up

@hfdpayner While "bitches crying" wouldn't be my choice of words, it's true that people have been complaining about expansions "ruining the game" for as long as there have been expansions. In spite of that, the game has survived three x-pacs and doesn't seem to be dying...
With that said, Ulduar: best raid in the game. WTB more complex instances with lots of bosses, lots of story, and great music.

After Ulduar the game just got progressively worse in every aspect: Dungeonfinder, Free epic raid sets from 5-man dungeons, doing the same raid 4 times a week (10 / 25 / HC10 / HC25)... etc etc...
From Classic to Ulduar, then 1 month of Cataclysm - which made me quit for good.
RIP WoW :'(

@cr4yv3n I hope they really make it, patch 4.3 with 8 bosses seems to be boring... They wanted to do another raid for 4v3 but cancelled it (something with twilight void or so, I dont know how its called in English), so my only hope is that they make a nice raid like Karazhan...
And yes, anything from tbc or wotlk was better, I feel that they have to improve cataclysm.

This single greatest raid I have even been in, ICC, BWD, Naxx, Bot, Kara, Nothing gave the epicness of Ulduar. The bosses, the hard modes the story, algalon and above all the music, 2 years on and I still can't get this music out of my head. This was the only WotLK master peice and forever will be remembered as the best thing to come from wrath. The only thing I would like to know is the vocals on the choir versions, what are they,
