there is a word wall on top of that hill where you killed the dragon. you actuallt cleared it when you killed the dragon, so run back and get a free shout :)
doc, u should invest some time into conjuration and illusion, being a dark mage and conjuration once u get it maxed out lets you pirmanently have 2 atronacts or zombies follow u ;-)
If you learn the names, and ONLY take the Dwemer parts and scrap that can be melted down, any of their ruins will still give you so much you'll need to make half a dozen trips. More ingots than you'll ever need from that, but they sell pretty well, too.
IIRC, one of the mages gave you a "find" quest you can work on while in Mzulft.
It would have been a good idea to head to the "dragon head" marker on your compass after defeating that dragon.
@docm77 You should spend your level up points on 'adept destruction' when you get to level 50 destruction to make it easier to cast the new spells you got. ;)
As you seem to be more of a caster you're going to want to finish with dragonscale armor. Daedric and dragonbone armor are heavier armor and better suited for a warior. (and the dragonscake rocks if you get 100 enchanting, you can put 2 enchants on ur armor)

@docm77 You have to get the Creeper Spell: it's called Invoke Flame Familiar and it summons a fire wolf that attacks the enemy (it serves as well as distraction) and blows up on enemy's face! I use it a lot against mammoths and giants. It requieres little magicka.
