  • i think this my have helped me with my home work, thanks

  • Aww that was cute and very well done!

  • good!!!

  • hahahaha this is funny.

  • Did you draw this out frame by frame onto a computer? Did you use some kind of software to create it? Or did you animate it the old fashioned way by using paper and translucent celluloids?

  • I did it frame by frame with pencil on paper and then I scaned it and used CTP which is a very old software that is used to edit and color animation.

It is also possible to scan the frames and edit them in premiere but you will have to color them before scanning and its a lot of work.

  • Today I use toonboom which is a great software for frame by frame layer animation. Flash is also a great software, very friendly and easy to use. It took me a long time to get used to wacom and drawing directly on to the computer and it does make life much easier but I miss the pencil and paper a lot.

btw, one of my teachers is using celluloides and its beautiful, but must be colored with special sealed paint which I am not familar with, and its tons of work to make it look perfect.

  • A great book that helped me a lot is "Animators survival kit" get it. It will help you become a good animator

  • Thanks for explaining, I really appreciate it.

  • This was an animation exercise on second year. Its tons of work but so much fun if you like drawing or if you like plasticine you can make some realy cool short films.
