He couldnt even dl the files in the first place, they were in a unique format and around 200mb, so he could only use a remote desktop viewer to see them.
Real life is not like the movies, you cant "reroute power" or whatever to make a piece of equipment operate at around 10billion times its maximum threshold.

The systems Gary Hacked into should of been running openBSD, and they were running the highly most exploited platform in history *Windows*. Its so easy to exploit and hack windows. The US should be taking Microsoft to court for designing/engineering an operating system with poor security. Microsoft has put the consumer in debt by them having to buy security for it all the time, also with hackers & scammers getting there information so easily, and internet fraud. They just want to retaliate.

If you knew anything about autism you would know it actually gets worse with age, you can learn to live with it, but you don't change who you are. People with aspergers in particular have obsessions, his obsession is UFO's and Aliens. He didn;t cause 1 penny worth of damage, that's just the USA exagerating as usual and it's obvious they're too proud to admit their security was a load of shit. a 2 year old could of done what he did

@skinnyhurley I have a relative who has aspergers and know several others who have it through him. Of those I know ALL of them despise gary for hiding behind it the way he has. Aspergers did not prevent him from being aware that his actions where wrong or that they could have severe consequences. He is a criminal who uses his aspergers as a crutch trying to escape a punishment he knew would come eventually. It disgusts me.

@ultradumbass I don't believe he managed to get onto any of the cumputers that had any important information on them. I know gary claims he found interesting information but then again he is a conspiracy theorist and my guess is he is making that claim to encourage others to try to do as he did in the hope that they could find what he did not. I know this because if I was him and I was convinced something was there to be found that I would do the same.

no he's not a kid and no aspergers is not a worse condition than down's syndrome. they both carry their own major difficulties and shouldn't be compared. that said, asperger's is still a real disability which should be taken seriously. to put in really simple terms, making fun of someone with aspergers for their awkwardness is like mocking someone in a wheelchair for being unable to walk.

aspergers is a form of autism that causes a certain kind of obsessive/compulsive behavior or disorder. The mind focuses on a certain thing and it becomes an obsession. This is a REAL disorder that is recognized by the medical community. One does not outgrow it and does not ask to be born with it.
