  • Robert Plant also covered this song great.

  • The Hollies have always been revered for their impeccable harmonies, and rightly so, but they also had in Tony Scott an amazing, incredible drummer. The Who would ve ditched Keith Moon in a heartbeat if they could have attracted Tony; he was every bit as powerfull and way more disciplined.

  • @problem49 I'm fairly certain the Hollies' drummer's name was Bobby Elliott... and I disagree about that Keith Moon comment. The Who couldn't have made it without him, and every member of the group acknowledged that.

  • @GuyWithNoName67

Indeed it WAS Bobby Elliott on drums. He replaced original drummer Don Rathbone who wasn't ready to turn full time pro. Bobby said of his sound that at times, his drums sounded like cannons going off! When they covered George Harrison's "If I NeededSomeone" he disparagingly said it sounded like a bunch of session musicians. Bobby took that as a compliment because he'd have loved to have done sessions for other people. I don't think Ron Richards ever had to hire a session man!

  • Perfect drumming !

  • I could be wrong, but I think I heard a black version of this song...

  • anyone who knows this song with the lyrics in the chorus "but you don't love me at all"? this song is from the 50's or 60's.

  • This version is alright but I still reckon The Throb did a better version...

  • Love THE HOLLIES, check out version by THE THROB. This does not suit The Hollies

  • Love THE HOLLIES, check out version by THE THROB

  • Sick surf style guitar sound on this. I'm having a custom tube spring reverb made for me right now. I wonder if its a stratocaster.

  • this song is just awesome

  • Not a lot is said about Bobby Elliott but this guy was probably the best drummer in contemporary music at the time. His drumming was in another class from the rest of the bands back then. Bobby should take a lot more credit from the fans.

  • without a doubt.

  • wow! when I heard the first notes, I remembered... Thank you for making me feeling young again!!

  • I love this song....so typical of our great Hollies in '65. Tight harmony! Great photos too....thank you!

  • Thanks for another treasure, Rebecca! It´s wonderful, how you make these great videos of rare Hollies songs I´ve not heard before!

  • You are welcome! ;)

  • Os Holiies com Allan são sempre maravilhosos.

The Holiies with Allan is always wonderful.

  • I adore this Hollies song. Especially when Allan speaks the last line, classic!!!!!

  • That's my favourite part of this song, too.

  • Typical good Hollies performance of this well covered song.

  • I agree that! I just found some other well covered songs by the Hollies. Thanks for rating and comment. ;)
