I just got one of these but I don't know how to transfer all my contacts onto the Phone. They are all saved on the SIM card but i need to transfer them onto the actual device so i can make full use of the phone.....I.e Peoples names coming up instead of numbers when i get a txt, and being able to use the "People" widget. Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!

I really love my HTC Desire. It's better then the Nexus one and it's cheaper then the Desire HD. Hardware based the Desire is damn nearly the same as the Nexus One and Desire HD. The Desire HD just has a bigger screen an 8 megapixel camera lens with dual flash and 802.11n wifi. I highly recommend the HTC Desire to anyone...

@mandicci there is a phone much similar to the desire on Verizon wireless called the Droid incredible. its basicly a desire with a different look to it, and 8 MP camera with dual LED flash

i love my desire traded my iphone 3g 2 get it only thing iphone 4 does a liitle bit better is retna display but the desire amoled screen is wicked. Android all the way for me and i had a iphone 2g at launch was in at the start of the jailbreaking scene. Android so much better for root access and what u can do when u get it. Also market place kicks ass few months behind app store but we getting all the app devs making android versions now plus market place has so many apps app store we never see.
