Ok = there was mistake in my previous post. There were 2 songs named Warszawianka. One is from 1831 and was not communist, about fighting for independence from Russia. This socialist one is from 1879 written by a socialst - it is this one.

So: 160-90=80 million. This leaves a destroyed country.

The population was growing fast, the average lifetime was expanded from 60 years to 78 years in 20 years time. Pension was given to ~20 million soldiers of the Great Patriotic war ( apart from their job salary).
Each veteran was entitled to 1 month paid holiday by the State as tribute to his effort to defeat fascism.
