Looks pretty neat, definetly a throwback to games like Quake and Unreal Tournament. I just wonder how many players is it and will it have a decent number of maps. There's a lot more to it, which is why so many people are angry about this game and at IllFonic and AlienTrap. The non-existent founder basically went behind the backs of the community and made a deal with IllFonic to essentially cash in on the reputation of the game. NONE of the other developers knew of this until Kedhrin stormed the AT forums. Long story short, all hell broke loose and the project was forked. You can read more about it on Xonotic's FAQ.

The reason I think that the console player would win is because the pc player would go in all cocky thinking they were going to win because they would be "more" accurate but accuracy means nothing compared to tactics which is very common in console players. Atleast for me I can hop into a lobby and we will form a tight nit team and normally win by a landslide. This is completely with randoms on the ps3 just so you know.

@o0MrCheesy0o thumb sticks are only as imprecise as the user :o.... u just aint that good with thumb sticks.. however yeah KB/M does grant much better control once you're used to it... but that dont mean its impossible to play arena shooters on console.. i find it funny that most pc players call console ut3 players noobs.. when how is that true when the controller is harder to use/master... good console arena fps players deserve credit xD its really not hard to aim with a mouse..

I love how they took the name of the open source classic in an attempt to cash in on it's reputation at the expense of the friendly community that made it what it was. i like that you brought back the arena fast paced "unreal tournament/quake" shooter style, and blended it with the mario kart powerups. i think it will be a very fun party/lan and competitive game. however the overall design of the arenas looked pretty good and majestic from afar, but upclose it was like a christmas disco.... more "natural" map please :)
