Andrew and Sarah are divorced. Sarah Duchess of York will have her title as sort of a surname unless/until she marries again. It's like if Mr. and Mrs. Jones divorced. Mrs. Jones is legally able to use the name "Mrs. Jones" until she remarries. If Sarah Duchess of York married Mr. Jones, she would become Mrs. Jones.

The Duke and Duchess of York were not granted a divorce by the Queen. They are seperated and that is all. Princess B & E are still the Queens grand daughters and the titles are real, not "courtesy titles"

She's still called "DUCHESS OF YORK" because it's the title that HM the Queen gave her on her wedding day...she has been stripped of the HER ROYAL HIGHNESS (HRH) part of the title.

Diana also kept her title. She was still the Princess of Wales. She just lost the title Her Royal Highness. So did Fergie.

She's still MOTHER of two princesses. It was agreed in Fergie's divorce settlement that she DESERVED to keep her title as Duchess of York, since her ex-husband has no desire to re-marry. He really, really loved her & if it wasn't for the horrid way the Royal Family treated Fergie, her husband said, they'd still be married today. He still loves her, and has publicly stated this. They are still very close. The Royal Family is utterly impossible to marry into no matter how perfect the bride is.

She's an idiot, a spendthrift, completely unethical, immoral and has been caught even in criminal dealings It' amazing that the Crown Prosecution Service has not preferred charges against her for fraud and corruption. Don't be a bint. Fergie is EMPLOYED, earns her own living and does not receive any money from the Civil List, you wanker. Therefore, she is not a "drain on the public" as you falsely alleged. Fergie earns a great deal of money from her book sales, Weight Watcher TV commercials and spokesperson. She also does a tremendous amount of humanitarian charity work for good causes. She isn't perfect, but anyone who can survive with their wits intact after marriage in the Royal Family is a WINNER!
