  • Im not talented enough to braid my own hair :(

  • Great video, epecially the tip on the hair net. Many times I have weaved my hair and wish that I had a extra braid to fill in a spot, but your idea of showing the hair to the net if you need to fill in a spot but don't have a briad is brilliant. THANK YOU!

  • lol @ what girls do and spend on themselves

  • lol@korean person i'm just sayn!!!

  • I love your hair! Lol, Really!

  • What do you do with the ends if you ont have a cap ?

  • I had no idea it was possible to do an entire weave on your own head! that's so weird....but kool!! :D like the video :D

  • Awwwah I love those piercings by your ears cute! I thought they were piecings?? And your vids are awesome very straight forward! Keep up tha good work!

  • I like your sew in the best!!!!!

  • Damn u braid fast lol i need to step my game up

  • Hello....well i waas just wondering you know how do you grease your hair if it itches because when i get sew ins i dnt get the cap but if i choose to try it how do you grease your hair so i know

  • @murdamamiis get a hair dye applicator bottle and fill it with an oil. Then put the nozzle as close to the wig cap/tracks and squeeze it to get your scalp oiled. I recomend you mix olive oil and 10-15 drops of 100% peppermint oil in the bottle, that mix stops itching and prevents dandruff. So yea but an applicator bottle, if you want to see one just type in it here on youtube.

  • can you buy the hair net from a beauty store?

  • Wow i'll Try That One Day . !

  • ffffffaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiilllllll

  • You can even sew on the back of the head hair ??

  • how much did the hair cost?

  • Prepping & braiding always takes a while. Then comes the magic finger tips to do a really good job weaving.

Keep hairstyles fresh, sleep on 100% SILK PILLOWCASES, satin pillowcases, hair wraps or silk Du Rags. ESSENCE OF SILK on the web, has the best prices, selection & quality.

  • want to let you know that it is NOT GOOD to braid wet or damp .. because when your hair is wet is stretches & when it drys is shrinks and your hair will brake ... so i recommend it for to be dry.. and she is totally right don't braid too tight because your hair will brake as well

  • Cool! I have been wanting to learn sew-in's. Think I am going to give it a try. I am so excited! Thanks for posting the vids!!

  • hey just wondering do u still make any new hair videos would really love to see some new styles

  • Thank you for the step by step video! You have a gr8, funny, bubbly attitude (idk if tht makes sense =/ ) once i learn Twitter I will follow you lol!

  • do i need special thread?

  • Thank you for posting this video this is so much more convient (cap) then the method I have used in the past! I'm going to get started tonight...now do you ACTUALLY sew the cap into your braids to secure it and then sew in the weave as well?

  • "It tingled alright" lOl... thats how i felt when i used it

  • This was extremely helpful. I believe I can do this to my daughter's hair, but; when you talked about the thread pulling the hair too tight I chickened out and called a church sister who does hair. It is 10pm in Texas and I text messaged her. That's how bad it frightened me to possibly pull out her hair. I think I will just practice this on my hair. It looks like yours on the picture and when I either braid it or sew in hair, my own hair grows beautifully. Keep it up, it is appreciated.

  • man i cant braid my hair. if i could i would do this in a heartbeat. you did good on your braids!!

  • Takes skill to braid your own hair and sew a weave in it aswell.

I can easily do someone else's hair , but my own hair..that is a disaster, aspecial the back of my hair wich i can't see.

  • Thankyou very much for your videos...you make it look so easy...I'll try it your way one more time...:-)

  • I wish you could my hair...looks like you know what your doing lol

  • is the net cap tight?

  • Mizani (sp) is really good

a lil expensive but it is worth it

  • do the hair net prevent your hair from breaking off.

  • oh thanks im glad i saw this post i have been wondering whats the point of it=-) i never really found an answer till now=-)

  • would i get the same look by using bonding glue?

  • gluing in trcks breaks off your hair.

  • Awesome braiding skills!

  • i want to get a weave,

    well tracks,

cuz one of my friends said she got them and they made her hair grow,,

im hispanic so i have no idea what kind of hair to get or anything...lol

what do you recommend for a first timer?!

    :)

  • i mean do u have ruff tuff hair? what is ur hair texture cuz u can get what ever hair u want just long as u know it looks good on u

  • go to the beauty supply store and take a look at the different weaves. find one that matches your hair color and texture. preferably human hair

  • how much does weave cost ?

  • depends

    the fake ones are cheap

the real hair is kinda expensive

  • dang im still learning lol you make it looke easy

  • Do u always need to use the cap? when you're doing a sew in?

  • not at all I just prefer it

  • Ok thank you ^_^ but then wat do you do with the braid? becuase with the cap you just tuck it in

  • fave part 3:20"she look a mess" agreed. you think with all the money they make off us for her they get better models on the package! glad im not the only one who thought that!

  • YES! I need to be a hair net and hair weave model (now that I'm skinnier)

  • yep, my favorite as well. I'm also impressed that she's able to do this all by herself.

  • But dont you have the feeling that you would wear a wig ?

  • nope, I don't like wigs b/c they never feel secure I always feel like its going to slip off

But sewing it in is basically tying the hair to your own hair and the way I do it, you couldn't rip it out if you wanted to :)

  • wow your hair grew.its fun to watch these

  • so in theory, you can just sew it on to the net and then when it's time to wash your hair, you can just take the net off and put it back on? Like a wig?

  • no b/c you're sewing through the braid as well the net can not support an entire weave, it's there to protect your hair

  • GREAT JOB!I enjoyed your videos. You have stopped me from cutting all my hair to nothing again. Looks good on you.

Hope your visit with your family was FANTASTIC.

    Can't wait to see more!

  • yea I agree, its not good to braid the edges tight but when you get to the middle it should be kinda tight so it can last longer. I think the tighter the braids are, the longer the sew in would last.

  • hey girl... i heard you say something about the weft but it wasnt clear to me... you said that there was a side that was double layer right? so were you saying that you should sew that side facing up or towards your scalp?

  • the double sided which is the thicker side then the other side. so you should sew the thicker side to you scalpe so it well lay flat and be smooth reither than bumbie.

  • yeah it tingles alright lol!!!!!

  • I wish I could cornrow my own hair!

  • I would NOT recommend anyone to sew the hair onto this weave cap, or even a stocking cap for that matter because when it's time to wash your hair, you can't lift up the weave to massage your scalp. Not good for your scalp.

  • yes, you can, I lift mine and maintain my hair beneath

  • How? I would like to know how you touch your scalp. There is a net there, so how do you rub your SCALP without having to try and rub through the net? :-S

  • I have a small head..do I double the hair net?

  • I dont think thats a good idea to sew the hair onto the weave cap and your hair..cuz that means you cant take the weave cap off..leaving the weave cap on your hair everyday will have your head hurting and very hot..i know cuz i baught 1 and wore it with my wigs..i hate the net weave caps..the stocking caps are much better cuz its light on your head but will make your hair dry..thats not a good idea..

  • Actually wearing the net prevents your hair from being pulled so much, its the same as the cap just more breathing room and I think it was how everything was sewn on that caused you pain but pro stylists use nets all the time

so theres nothing wrong with them

  • I agree, i have worn them with wigs too, and at the end of the day, i'm ready to take that thing off!!!

  • i know..i cant wear them stocking cap or weave net under my wig for more than an hour...girl i be sweatin, have headaches, and catching hell be ready to pull that wig off my head when i get home...i now wear my wigs with no caps and it feels good..and im doing my sew in with no caps....i like kianna tutorial but without the caps

  • My friend did that to me and the part that bothered me was that when it was itchy and i couldnt do anything about it. But it kept my hair from showing, & it was sturdy, making it a smooth full weave. It was worth it though.

  • thanks for the vid my first sew in was great thanks to keep the vids comin

  • Beautifully done!! Thanks!

  • Hi Kianna- love your vids!!! How do you leave hair out with a net? I want to leave my perimeter and a horseshoe but i'm stumped on how to do this with a net.

  • This tutorial really help me!, I can sew the hair on a hair net, that is awsome. this was an excellent vid. I will watch your vids until I get it right

  • i would do this if i knew how to braid...i also have short hair but someone told me i can use synthetic hair to braid...good video!

  • you are the only person on youtube who actually is good at making tutorials for hair extensions. THANK YOU SO MUCH, this helped alot. 5 stars girl:]

  • this is kinda gow i do ma soe ins except i dont put a hair net

  • @kievia04...yes you can that is whut i use

  • Can u use flat irons on milkyway hair?

  • dag girl youre good

  • lol ok thanks gurl

  • how tight are those net caps, because if its the same tight feeling u get when putting one of those stalking caps on thoes things are irratating felt like my circulation was beeing cut off took it off and had a noticable mark left on my forehead from how tight it is ...just curious and want to know before i got it

  • no they aren't tight at all actually :/

and you dont put it on your forehead just the edge of your hairline

  • wow you look totally different with out your weave

  • Does your forehead get irritated with that net cap?

  • have u ever tried wet n wavy weaves?? if so which brand do u recommend

  • what is the name of the hair you used and do you know a brand of human hair that is good but not to exspensive

  • lol...you are too funny! I've been following your directions. I will let you know the results.

  • thank you sooooooooooo much. u r the hook up!!! lol

  • thank you sooooooooooo much. u r the hook up!!! lol

  • crap, my computer is buffering... I have to favorite this so I can watch and learn later when its a good girl, I saw the finished product video and it looks good!!

  • hey i used ur videos and technique to do hair and it worked great!! epecially ur closure technique thanks so much

  • Huh?

  • what if i wanted to put it in a ponytail!???

  • u would leave your hair out on the sides to cover up the tracks

  • my cousin has her nape pierced...shes modelin n shes rockin it well...just thought i can throw that n dere...lol but u rock...i love ur originality!

  • I love your tutorial thanks for posting..I think I sew weave wrong...I will like you to please clear something up for me. What side do you sew out? the doubled layer or the other side? Pls reply

  • you sew it on the double layer side

  • i have long hair that falls a few inches below my shoulder blades ... is that too long to braid for a weave?... because i want to sew in artificial hair pieces like this so i can have it short and play around with it for a while... and im white to so my hair isn't wiry and idk if it will braid correctly or w/e

  • lol her hair isnt wiry, and if you dont want to offend a black person i wouldnt say that again. anyway, ur hair dosent have to be kinky to braid, you can get a sew in weave if you want one

  • sorry it was the first word to pop in my head......and do i just tuck the ends into the cap

  • We (as 4B textured blacks) do naturally have wiry, course, or whatever hair, so you can say it. It's just the fact of it.

My stepmom is white, and based on experience I would say you need to find someone that can braid your hair type if it's very silky. She has very silky hair and the same person who does mine can't do her hair as well as she does mine cuz my mom's hair kind of "slips" easily.

    Hope that helps!!

  • gurl, i wish i could that all to my hair

  • This is harder than it looks. I am working on my hair.

  • She makes me want to try a weave.

  • WOW Great Skills! Go Diva!

  • Your hair looks nice and soft. I wish I could put a weave in my own head. It would save me a lot of money. I can't even french braid....I ain't mad at you.

  • Girl u got mad skilz I'm just learning to do cornrows...lol!

  • Come to Canada and do my hair?!! lol for real your good! and i wish i culd do my hair as good as you do yours!
