Hair Color Correction/ Highlights on Natural Hair

Your hair looks nice, I like the Hi-lights!!! I've been in transition for 10 months now, and I've been wanting to color my hair. I usually go to a salon but since I've been natural, I've been on my own. My friend told me to try Texture and Tones: Honey Blonde to lighten my hair and then I can add a colored rinse, but I don't know? I still have some relaxed, do you have any suggestions?

@2sharpe Thanks ;) I would be really careful with at home coloring. You dont have as much control as a stylist would. What I do depends on the condition of the hair Im very careful cause one color job can cause severe shedding. If at all possible go to a salon. Look for ones in the mall maybe having a sale on color. They may start doing that soon cause the seasons about to change so people normally want to lighten their hair for the spring/summer. But I really prefer u dnt do it yourself :(
