hey i too have a 2003 avalanche with the bose system u should help me im trying to figure out how to tap the amp ima newbie i have no clue what im doing i want to get a amp and a sub help me please step by step
I just got an '03 avalanche that has the BOSE system. Mine does not have a factory sub like your description says yours has. Where was yours located? Thanks.
you should just build a wall with that mdf to replace the midgate. its not that hard just use your midgate as a template. i'm in the process of uploading some vids of my EXT, and you could see what i'm talking about. then if you decide to sell it you could just install the factory midgate back in.
how has that been working for you. meaning the sub in the bed does it move around alot when driving. i have an 02 and i want to put suds in the back but want to make it so they can be taken out when i want to use the bed of my truck
@superman46 It does not move around because the bed of the 03 avalanche (and possibly older models) has a rubber lining. Also, I have taken out the midgate that I talk about in this video and just have it open to the bed.
Im working on one and i think the factory amp is dead. How hard is it to get to the amp? Is there a way to get to it easy?
