  • My 2003 2.5RS has 198,000 miles and I beat the FUCK out of that thing every day...

  • @bencinurts what makes an impreza RS an RS?

  • @goingdownthetubes The tune is slightly different. Injectors, and the front and rear diff's are 4:11 gear ratio... If you drive a legacy GT, then get in a RS, you can feel the difference.

  • interesting id lve to see videos of it

  • @goingdownthetubes I'll post vids this spring after the install..

  • @goingdownthetubes They use the same engine and 5spd gear box. The timing is slightly advanced. I just bought an AVO turbo kit, ARP head studs, borla header, stromung catback. It'll be running 5psi, 285 crank horsepower. With the 5spd 4:11 combo, makes for a very quick car! Thought the top end is only 137mph.. Oh well.. Still much cheaper than buying a used STI that you've got no clue how it's been maintained.

  • @goingdownthetubes Oh and my insurance will remain super cheap ;-)

  • How many miles does she have now? My XT6 is at 267K and still going. :P Just needs a new wiper assembly, but that's all good.

  • @Ryoukun16 i believe 225k i dont drive scuby in on the road anymore , now i drive elmer glue the 86 subaru .

that car has 205,6xx miles !

  • My GF's 95 impreza has 299,000 miles.. all original.. I'll post a vid when she breaks 300K!!!

  • @bencinurts this was my dads car

  • Great man happy 220000 miles. My ranger just turned 186000 the other day lol

  • hopefully your ranger than my cousins boyfriends.,

his is a 2005 i think and has been though 5 transmissions

and just last December or so the timing belt skipped a beat so now its only firing on 3 out of 6 cylinders!

  • Fuuuck, well its sad how the quality of newer vehicles is crap compared to the older ones, and to be honest i was hard pressed buying this ranger, but it was the best out of all the other cars I looked at, I hate computers in cars man.

And I would not buy a new ranger either, but Im gonna keep this one in my family and Im gonna get a better vehicle once I start working.

  • Wow! Hondas can last that long too.
