I didn't watch the show, but I feel that this song didn't really showcase the talents of the whole choir the same way that some of Nick Lachey's song choices did. This song seemed to focus more on soloists, and while it was amazing, I can see why Nick Lachey ended up winning.

However, THIS choir didn't show up any other night, it became a typical church choir heavy on soloists and the choir was secondary. Nick's choir was a full choir all 4 nights, especially the last night, and that's why they won. But damn, Miss Patti's choir ROCKED it this night!

Patti is just a blessing, so beautiful, so gracious, 63years power, god is working on her! Her voice is untouchable and so is her choir. All did good, but Patti was absolutely amazing, spiritual and soulful.
Patti's talent and energy passed right on to her choir! I went to the Patti concert in Atlantic City New Year's eve. And just like Patti promised on the show's finale, the choir performed at her concert right after 12 midnight. Talk about awesome...They sang Whole World, Wonderful Time, and another spiritual Patti said NBC didn't let them sing on the air. I hope this isn't the last we see of them.
How the hell didn't she win? Lachey's was great, too, don't get me wrong. Their "Flight of the Bumblebee" was fantastic.
But it didn't give me chills like this one. I mean that note trade-off they do between sections is...just wow. I've done something similar to that in a choir, and trust me, it is NOT easy.

what i love about FANTASTIC performers and choirs especially is that they are always so INTO what they are singing. love the emotion!! the chemistry from everyone is so strong that i can feel it from NYC all the way to where i am LA :)

Yeah, did you see, what I called, Ms. Pomp-Pomps--the white girl with the ample "cleavage"--in front of Lachey's choir ALL THE TIME. She even got a solo and couldn't hold a note if they put it in her hand.
Patti's team lost because lame people didnt get up and vote. So the young folks voted for Nick's group that was totally weak. They voted for Nick and we didnt vote for anyone. So that is why she lost.
Patti's Choir was clearly the best, and if it was playback they were the best of all the other playback choirs on that show. Its a shame like so many opther reality shows that it came down to a popularity contest over talent.

Wow, it's like we are watching two different tv shows with some of these comments. Excellent performance, definitely the bell of the ball tonite. Between 1:30-2:00 was pure bliss, especially when they dropped the music except the drums,it was all over for everyone else,lol. I had to cut a step. Yall know how quick we can cut a step, I couldn't have been in the audience, we would have been having some church up in there, America isn't ready for that. I think Labelle Choir was the most consistent they was great everytime they perform and was uplifting maybe too uplifting and soulful for a network like NBC I don't know LOL anyway Nick Team had the one really big performance, I think most people would have been happy with any of those teams winning, Kelly team getting eliminated first was more of a shock to me then Nick team winning

I am humbled.... America can sing BEAUTIFULLY.... the different styles just make it better... we have it all!! loved all the choirs. Shelton's, Bolton's, and Rowland were wonderful too. I think that LaBelle's team should have won but other people thought Lachey's should AND respect other people's choices. Vive la Difference!!

Is diversity your only criteria? This choir tried to make up for their lack of talent by primal screaming their way through their act. I like diversity too, but their crapiness transcends all boundaries.
Again in my opinion all of the choirs were wonderful. I LOVE LaBelle's choir though. Please listen carefully there is no primal screaming here but beautiful harmonies. Peace! Be Happy!

what i love about FANTASTIC performers and choirs especially is that they are always so INTO what they are singing. love the emotion!! the chemistry from everyone is so strong that i can feel it from NYC all the way to where i am LA :)
i was going crazy at home after every performance and esp. this one!! and i keep on going crazy after i watch this clip ^^

sorry for the errors. Nick said that he would put his choir on one of his cds only if the won the competition. I just want Patti to know I love her an that for sure.

Patti Labelle you diffently should continue to work with this choir. You did an awsome job you are the best and your choir should have won. Iam 31yrs old I have always loved your realness they just wasn't ready for your choir. I voted 30times a night. I noticed that Nick on said that he would have his choir on his cd if they won the competition. He is not a real person like you he is so transparent, and has very little talent.

I have been in choirs most of my life, and I have seen the supposed "winner" of the competition, and I thought they were quite good ..... but this choir is so pro that its not even funny. DID YOU HEAR that 3-way trade off that turns into a melody? WHILE MOVING ..... The fact she didn't win is entirely based on looks and age and ignorance. Clearly the winner.

you know, i just watched lachey's choir and thought they were good; but this choir blows them out of the water, i had no idea they were so good.talentwise, labelle wins hands down; but people wanted team covergirl.

Yeah, did you see, what I called, Ms. Pomp-Pomps--the white girl with the ample "cleavage"--in front of Lachey's choir ALL THE TIME. She even got a solo and couldn't hold a note if they put it in her hand.

Patti's team lost because lame people didnt get up and vote. So the young folks voted for Nick's group that was totally weak. They voted for Nick and we didnt vote for anyone. So that is why she lost.

Patti's Choir was clearly the best, and if it was playback they were the best of all the other playback choirs on that show. Its a shame like so many opther reality shows that it came down to a popularity contest over talent.

LOLOL!! Who on that show WAS MORE popular than Patti??? It was a given at the start that she would win it. What went wrong?? NIck was aboy band dude. Just find this comment funny as hell. Patti DID have the best church choir, quess what though?? Alot of the rest of us dont care for Baptist revival songs. They are fine at first but all blend together after awhile. Patti should be proud on the diversity of this program.

You know for sure that this is fake???!! Patti says at the audition: I want people that really can sing.... Well, believe me, why they are playback while they can sing so good;) ha if the 2 singers, not playback, the whole choir isn't playback

I love patti, she is my favorite singer but.. the choir is very fake... they are singing in playback.. (not the two singers) everything LOOK SO FAKE.. Hope that money will go to charity for real. happy cristhmas to the AMAZING PATTI LABELLE AND to everyone.

Wow, it's like we are watching two different tv shows with some of these comments. Excellent performance, definitely the bell of the ball tonite. Between 1:30-2:00 was pure bliss, especially when they dropped the music except the drums,it was all over for everyone else,lol. I had to cut a step. Yall know how quick we can cut a step, I couldn't have been in the audience, we would have been having some church up in there, America isn't ready for that. Why won't the haters even give them props?

I think Labelle Choir was the most consistent they was great everytime they perform and was uplifting maybe too uplifting and soulful for a network like NBC I don't know LOL anyway Nick Team had the one really big performance, I think most people would have been happy with any of those teams winning, Kelly team getting eliminated first was more of a shock to me then Nick team winning
who cares who won they are all winners and all won something in the end

I am humbled.... America can sing BEAUTIFULLY.... the different styles just make it better... we have it all!! loved all the choirs. Shelton's, Bolton's, and Rowland were wonderful too. I think that LaBelle's team should have won but other people thought Lachey's should AND respect other people's choices. Vive la Difference!!

Is diversity your only criteria? This choir tried to make up for their lack of talent by primal screaming their way through their act. I like diversity too, but their crapiness transcends all boundaries.
