But to answer your question,

It depends on your playstyle, level, pve or pvp.

I'd say enchancement on lower level because elemental sucks at low level, but when you're like level 60 elemental is stronger.

Although I prefer enchancement for leveling.

Really? You're an idiot. By starting off with a 2H I'm already missing a few white hits from not duel wielding, and back then 2Hers only hit for 2-300 more damage. And switching to duel wielding weapons after SSing with a 2H puts my swing timer on CD, therefore I'd already be behind by two swing timers if I switched back to my 2H for SS.

Please don't post useless, ill thought and completely wrong theories on my video.

You wont wastre any hits by switching to 2h, ever heard of a macrO? plus, if WF procs that "300-400" damage will become allot more. Good geared - Right spec - Skilled shaman players, crit 6-7k WF 2h. Smack that.

this was at beginning of bc, windfury still stacked right where you can double proc it...plus look at his weapons, along the way when patches came by the base damage went down, but in this vid that weapon would proc haste giving him more momentum to his auto attack, assuming he was hit capped he would be unstoppable with that wf stack and haste increase

This was not the beginning of TBC, this video is when there was a 3 second hidden CD on windfury procs, that patch was implemented FAR before this video was made.

You don't get a 2.5k increase in DPS with just weapon enchants.

hes attacking the dudes in badlands, they don't die no matter how much damage you do to them.

I think the only way to kill them is go get a quest and destroy a the crystal near them which makes them able to be killed.

excellent place to train up weapon skills and check DPS.

Rogues and fury warrs will do more dps then a enh shaman in a raid or grp

cause a enh shaman buffs the melee in their grp big time

WF + str totem, for warrs and rogues this is a immense buff

compared to that, rogues cant buff others, and warriors can only do 1 AP shout

a solo enh shaman does more dps then a solo warrior/rogue

they are not overpowered.. in fact the shaman class is the most nerfed class in the game. and they're basically a support class when brought as dps in a raid. except chain heal, whatever you do as a shaman, there's another class that does it better. rogue, fury war>enhancement. mage, lock>elemental. shamans bring decent dps when properly specced and great buffs (totems). that's hardly overpowered imo.

Actually out elemental shamans does more dps than most of our mages, and most certainly our locks! Enhancement shamans doesn't get owned by fury wars or rogues either, when geared and played correctly

i don't know anything about your guild's mages and locks or rogues and fury warrs, but they must do smth wrong imo. i'm not saying shammies aren't good dps, i'm just saying when you put an enh shaman in a melee grp, for example, he buffs them all with unleashed rage, totems, etc. logically speaking they should do better dps than on their own. if they don't because of their rotation, spec, gear or whatever, that's a different story, but i was talking about comparable gear, skill, etc. :)

Well, it also depends on what raid level u are on, if you're BT, I can see ur point. When elem shamans had the reduction in lightning bolt cast time, the high-end was nerfed, the middle didn't have much effect, and the lower was buffed. My guild is currently working on the start of SSC and TK (void, sola and lurker down).

For enhancement shamans, we are most likely the most gear dependant class, but I've got a nice set through 25 mans and ZA, and i reckon i am in the top 10 dps'ers in our guild.

You fail, you get more dps, even pvp, with 2 one handers than a 2hander, a 2hander is simply for that lucky crit with windfury proc and crit.

Also, they are talking PvE, which, in case you were too busy buying your account on ebay, isnt pvp, gg, shut your mouth, open it when something inteligent is about to fall out.

Mongoose. Crusader is a good entry-raid enchant for shamans, but at this level it's much more appropriate to have mongoose or mongoose/executioner.
