Hi a1angiem I was wondering if you know of any web sites I can go to to get some ideas for some different kinds of bread, see my mother just bought me my first bread machine and the book came with some recipes but not that many so curious if you know of some. Thank you love your vid
The recipe I use is the same, Except I don`t add powdered egg or cinnamon, Instead I put in a handful of walnuts (walnut and rasin bread) Also 15 mins to cool is a little bit to soon, At least half an hour I would have thought. Looked a tasty loaf mind!
hi great vids thanks for sharing them, is your machine a 2 lb unit? I have an older model black and decker 1 to 1 and a half works well but im eyeing a new one the sunbeam one looks really nice.
I'm so disappointed with this machine and yes it is so frustrating. My mom bought this machine maybe couple years ago but we didn't use it until now =( Anyways I still love your tutorials Please keep it coming =)
Why don't you give it a try using the machine to make/knead the dough and then remove it, shape it, and bake it yourself in the oven? Maybe that will salvage it! Good luck!
I think I know why my bread didn't turn out too well... There was nothing wrong with my yeast or measurements IT WAS MY BREAD MACHINE! I set it on the Sweet settings with Normal crust but the bread was getting burnt before the cycle ended... Argghh! It made my crust dark and hard but the inside cooked! I even tried to make a bread using the Basic setting, Normal crust, again it turned out the same
Oh, that's so frustrating! Well, yeast breads can be fickle and bread machines vary - sometime if you are not sure...(and now you know) you may want to watch the dough mixing, and then kneading, for 10 minutes or so to check on the dough consistency. If your air is very dry or humid it can make a difference and you might have to add flour or water accordingly to make it a nice consistency. Also, make certain your yeast is fresh, fresh! I hope that helps a bit, I'm sorry it didn't work!
I am not sure. The recipe calls for the milk powder...which is (obviously) concentrated. But it is a small amount so you could try the milk and adjust the amount of flour accordingly. I will check into that for the future and let you know if I find out for sure.
That happened to me as well. The knead bar(s) are usually coated with a non-stick coating, which can wear off eventually with use. I replaced my knead bar and haven't had a problem since. Check your manual or search the web for parts for your particular machine. They are not very expensive to replace. Good luck!
I am making this tonight! Frugal home cooking!

@jomom6969 I have quite a few recipes here and on my blog. I like 'all recipes dot com' too but not sure how many machine recipes they have.

It won't be cinnamon raisin bread! You can just leave it out but it's better with it...you can buy small quantities at the bulk store for cents...
