By the way, only law enforcement can legally use those batons against a lower level of threat. Meaning, if a civilian wants to use a baton, they better be fighting against an armed attacker, multiple attackers or a marginally larger attacker. if some drunk belligerent shoves you, you can't just go to town on them with a baton.
@kyrotep In self defense the threat level is determined as interpreted by the victim. If you feel threatened / in danger, any court case regarding an "overzealous reaction" on your part will be thrown out before it even gets there.
