@remotecontrolaholic that sucks. I was looking at getting this too at the time but decided on the dell xps l702x with the 3d screen and glasses setup... Its awesome, definatly worth the 70 a month for 2 years.

@decepbarricade maybe minecraft but not a chance for portal 2. Portal is the same game engine as team fortress 2(half life 2 engine)

Hello guys @ girls !

I bought the Acer Aspire Revo 3610 with 4 GB of ram 2 weeks ago, and was lucky to return it back quickly as I managed.

It is a SLOWLY PC ! ! ! really week one. I couldn't enjoy the simplest tasks, such as web surfing or opening a video. It had difficulties leaf through a PDF file.

Be aware ! This PC may be cheap, but also has cheap capabilities ! ! !

first gen nettops didn't have a dvd/bluray drive. this years models will more than likely have them.

It not exactly rocket science to use a portable dvd/bluray player though..

There bigger book sized nettops that allow for 1 slim cd/dvd/br drive but most of these cases are barebone systems that only include the motherboard and cpu.

For this type of nettop I doubt you will ever see a built in dvd/br player installed. It's already cut down and compacted to save space

@sdutango it actually handles 1080p videos without any problems at all.. you could say I was pleasantly surprised :) a buddy of mine was in fact so impressed, that he drove and bought the same computer as soon as it was possible :D

You only have to make sure that you download Media Player Classic, K-Lite Codec Pack, and the latest drivers for the Nvidia Ion :) or else the movies will get all choppy..

this one is actually pretty good for wots built in. of the dual core nettop pcs ive seen this is the only one with dvi and hdmi out and the card reader.dual displays would be cool.

lol you can now get the insides of this in the upcoming samsung netbook with the ion platform.this one sucks,get a diff brand nettop that has the 330 atom,thats dual core.,but id still buy this when its like 150£ lol,these are great for htpc
