  • Holy landings Batman! Great video! Isn't there an easier way to land them than that? Doesn't that tear them up?

    Gary Barnett

    Watertown, NY

  • what size motors are in this P-38 i just brought one off ebay with 2x OS10 LA engines am building it at the moment and looks exactly like this plane, the plans are as hard as hell to work out so hope mine flies

  • Haha, the onboard sound sample goes back to 1987, the Amiga version of Flight Simulator II had it!

  • where did you get that?

  • nice sound effects

  • It's a Perfect landing

  • lol the fucking sound effects!, should have had hitlers speech in there too or something

  • Yup, thats redmond. They've improved it quite a bit since the last time I was there. Its now even bigger then before (freak'n huuuuuge) and is grassed the whole length, fenced, no more mud too!

  • @mdbuehler where did you get that

  • did he put fiberglass

  • very nice

  • SOUND EFFECTS EFWT ROFLM

  • LOL @ the sound effects!!

  • does it come with instructions on how to build it

  • Of course. If youre asking that you must be a rookie. And this is not a rookie plane. try the GWS slow stick. Very popular.

  • im wouldnt say im a rookie ive goit a hobby zone firebird phantom and was wanting to move up from that ive also had an art tech wing dragon sportster /beginair wich is 4 channel

  • Forgive me for saying so, but if you are basing your flight experience on a Firebird of any stripe then you are, in fact, a rookie. You need to fly something a LOT more forgiving before moving up to a P-38. Even with all kinds of electronics to back you up (synchronizer, roll rate gyro, soft start ESC, dual rate & exponential transmitter, etc.) you would still be tempting fate to go directly from a Firebird to a Lightning. Try something like a four channel Cessna 182 in the mean time.

  • hobbyzone super cub

  • awesome!

  • what's gws

  • Great job!

    Love the sound effects too.

Now I'm gonna get me one of them P-38-s

    Phil

  • WOW! That was fun! Can you tell me which camera you used and how you mounted it?? Just because of your great video I am going out to buy the GWS lightening and whichever camera you were using.

    Loved the vid! Thanx!

  • Thanks! Its just called the 5 in 1 DVR, they have them on ebay. About the size of a lighter. I attached it to the right rudder using clear tape. Watch it when you launch the first time, as the extra weight will pitch it back and over to the right!

  • dude, lol, awesome work! lol

  • Ranoko123... the sounds should be later than the airplane? why is that because this airplane is going supersonic and therefore out running the sound? oh wait no it aint! lol u IDIOT.

  • Great Vidseo

  • You had me going there for a moment. I thought it was the real thing.

  • rofl the sounds, hilarious

  • how much did u pay for this thing?

    how can i buy one?

  • rofl, the sound shud be a little later then the airplane idiot xD

  • i do believe they are real sounds added into the video..lol

  • man its loud! how big is that thing???

  • Rofl!

  • hehe

  • Damn, that looks and sounds good. Really a good job.

  • Supprised to see a GWS model fly that well. The GWS models I've had flew like crap, and I'm a pretty decent flyer and builder.

  • Very nice video. Sounded like Aerosound.

    Well done!!

  • I love it!

  • Great Vid! Could you give me the exact desciption of the cam?

  • Its a 5in1 USB cam (the one everyone on RCGroups uses). It was a bit sketchy having it on the tail! The canned motors are a bit weak to lug it aloft even with the lipo battery, so if you get this plane, go brushless for sure!

  • cool video. I think you did a great job with the sounds and the editing!

Did you use a 5in1 USB cam for the onboard video? I'm surprised that you can even get a camera on that thing!

  • the sound its so fake...

  • I know how much some people love the shrill screech of gearboxes and wind noise, which made the dubbing over such a difficult decision ;) 5 points if you can tell me which pass its a Spitfire and which its an actual P-38...

  • Kweul.
