@sn0wrunner Ya lol i cant imagine my I enjoy my Z71 tahoe but I feel so limited with my toyota when I go camping because i see my friends tear up in there ford and rams but my 4runner was fast and agil, I dont like the new 4runners either and my friends lifts are over done and I'm not a fan of lifts, but what you guys do seems very professioal. But I can see them tear my 4runners transmission and the pumpkins and replace them.

@MBCamaro95 Thanks for the comment! This trail is in Moab, UT. At the time we filmed this none of these vehicles had lockers. They do now though. check out toyteclifts. c o m. I know you can run Land cruiser coils in the rear, then you can just get some shocks for the rear, but I'm not too sure about the front. hit up toytec.

Is the 4runner as good an off roader as the Hummer H2 ? And can you use off road tires in city streets ? Will it be comfortable, will it be loud, will it be bumpy, and would you be able to get good traction still?

@Ctizz3 Front bumper on Silver SR5 is made by armorology. Rear bumper is custom made by the owner of that vehicle. (Not finished in this video however) Front bumper on Silver Limited is a TJM Rear bumper is made by Sonoran Steel Stubbs welding sliders bud built skids toytec LCA skids custom LCA mount skids lil skips off road gas tank skid

@itsyuno Have you done any trimming on the fender? or pounded in the pinch weld at all? If you need, get a 1-2" body lift and you shouldnt have any problems.
@sn0wrunner It was really bad last year but when i took a closer look at it, i saw that my sway bar attachment peice was broken in half so it was only connected on one side. When i fixed that, i didnt have any more rubbing on my fender, but then the tires started to rub again and it gradually got worse. Ive thought about getting a small body lift but my friends have told me that it makes your ride quality very poor and bumpy and that it doesnt look good on the vehicle. What do you think?
Well I got a 1.5" body loft on mine. I dont think it really changed the ride quality much at all. I'm not sure why they would say it doesnt look good though... the 4crawler body lift kit comes with bumper relocation brackets and with only an inch and a half, it doesn't show that much of the frame. I would go with a small body lift if i were you.
@itsyuno I did it myself. The kit was $150-200, something around there. Install is super easy. Just make sure you have 2 people. And dont turn the steering wheel when putting in the steering shaft extension.
nope, all 3 rigs were in 4wd, and open diffs front and rear.

OMG i love this video! i have a 98 and it's a blast to drive off road, it has surprised me more than once at how well it has done ... but i do wish it had at least a rear locker on it.

No lockers or gears on any of the rigs in this video. I'm hoping to get a locker soon. These things are just so darn capable without a locker it's almost funner running it open.

I sold my 1998 4runner 4x4 and bought a tahoe and a 2002 4runner limited and its just RWD and do you know if you can convert it to 4WD...?

nope, no issues with a 3.5" suspension lift and 1.5" body lift. They wont rub at all
