Some of those picture were not taken with the S95. I own the camera and use it often for macro.. The first Dragonfly and Butterfly were not taken with the S95. It does not have that capability. I do believe that the fly picures could of been taken with the S95.
@mrmoosealot I suspect they have used some of the third-party stick on lenses (that literally stick onto the front of the S95) to magnify the macro ratio.
That way they can still claim it was taken with a S95.
They can absolutely have been with the S95. I have taken 7-10,000 pictures with the S95 and you can really push the macro, it a superb camera with superb image quality.
If you select Auto Mode. When the camera moves close-up to flower, butterfly, dragonfly and more, Canon PowerShot S95 changes to macro mode.
If select P, Tv, Av, M and C Mode. You can set Macro Focus with Macro Button (Macro, Normal and Manual Focus). When zoom and background far away, background will be blurred.

how do you do macro on this camera?
GeGeMus12 1 year ago 2
@GeGeMus12 There's a button on the back dial labelled MF and has a flower symbol. Click that until it switches from Normal/Manual/Macro.
