Science is a process of refinement. We did not have anywhere near the same level of knowledge or computing power back then. Our ability to study the climate has increased exponentially since the 70's. You guys are still using anecdotes.

All you have to do is look at actual data over the last 10 years and know they are lying, the "scientists" even put their equipment in poor locations on purpose in 2 of the temprature taking locations..yes that is documented as well.

Maybe I'm still too young and naive about politics. But can't we get together as a nation without squabbling about Democrat versus Republican?
Is it necessary to give idle threats to the "blue dogs" or whatever other group or label one wants to throw around? I feel this type of talk is the root of what's evil with our political system.
One shouldn't get away with idle threats and rhetoric. Just because Rush-Hannity & Co versus the Maher-Colbern crowd do it doesn't make it right.

Everyone needs access to up to date affordable health care. But we are talking about one sixth of our national budget! I don't want just anything with the label "health care" slapped on it. How can we be sure this isn't just a package that gives assorted people a free shot at stealing the national wealth? That is what ever wealth we still have left. I hope they are going over this with a fine tooth comb to remove the snags in advance of voting. Too much depends on getting it right the first time
