I think he's cheating here, using editing. The only other thing i'm going to say is 'invisible deck'. Now watch the video again and think about it. This would have been pretty impressive to laymen live, but is even more impressive to magicians when watching this video.

Plus, you have no way of knowing if this is in Psycho, because you have no idea what he is actually saying in this video due to the voice over.
If you were the cut this video into pieces where all the editing is done, you can arrange them into the order of an invisible deck performance. Trust me. Watch it again.
plus, you see he has one face down card in a face down deck when he places the card down. Why bother with that if all you are doing it placing a card down to psychologically force it?
I'm not discrediting Daniel, he has come up with some brilliant effects, but he is also a great film maker and knows how to make things look even more impressive on film.

Derren brown did a smilar psychological force on his tv show too, i think this type of force is the most powerful you can ever use..
