  • OMFG!

    Where r the rest? :o

  • @CokeTump They're gone... This is the only one left... It's a little unfair.

  • This video looks nice with the youtube winter-snow effect... Sure am gonna miss it... xD

  • Very loved style of Music video with words/lyrics

    Simple-beauty!

  • I am liking the voice that said "Nii-san!" at the end when the brothers were killing bluebeard. @ 7:03

  • I think it's somewhat weird. I dunno if this is a different version or something but i have the blue beard story and instead of calling out to her brothers the last wife calls out to her sister Anne who tells her if she sees them on the horizon.

  • @TheFuzzyOfDoom Well, of course there are most likely multiple different adaptions of the story, more then likely Sound Horizon took some liberty to change things up in their retelling.

  • "I won't forgive those ungrateful pigs who judged you as a witch!"

Could this be a reference to Therese's death? O.o

  • someone keeps flagging these videos for deletion T_T

  • Hey, where's no 8?

  • @2:18: Shouldn't it be "Why was IT that his kind gaze was tinged with darkness?"

Forgot the 'it', mon ami. xD

  • @VileVava not really. The 'it' is not absolutely necessary there.

  • @soichirokun But it should have the "it" because of the word "that" in the sentence. It needs "it" as an opening pronoun to tell of the subject coming up in this case, and it also embodies what "why" is questioning inside the sentence, as well, it makes "his kind gaze" the direct subject. If you took away the "that" or flipped it so it'd be "His kind gaze was tinged with darkness, why was that?" so the predicate phrase comes after the subject it'd be correct as well. I'm an English major.

  • Jeesh, I finally get it. It does't agree with the art, but I think the first wife is actually singing this. It's the story of how Blue Beard started killing his wives. He didn't really loved his first wife and because of this she eventually cheated on him in the forbidden room, where he would later hang the corpses. He says ''Was it out of irritation of a broken vow or out of love? Perhaps my reasons died along with my fist wife when I killed her." He's talking about the woman who sang this! :P

  • @SylviaPQ20 It is the first wife. When you watch the live version, they have her getting killed first in her "white dress"... (Ofcourse, they don't show her face though because the one in the red dress is watching, and I doubt they have two of the same actress.)

  • @VileVava Hey, you're right didn't notice that before. I thought you saw the other wifes getting killed, but if she's one of the 5 wifes who were killed, then Blue Beards total of wifes would become 6, not 7, right?

  • @SylviaPQ20 If I may. To further reinforce your point, in the live version, right before Bluebeard said that line, his wife was shown doing some...questionable actions towards the narrator, along with Bluebeard staring furiously

  • "Still, why can't humans distinguish love from lust? How disgusting!"

For once, I agree with Elise

  • Aah, yeah. Bluebeard had seven wives, right? That's the sixth one singing this. It says she's "whispering" to the seventh wife, seeing as the one near the end lives. That, and the singer is the newest corpse, according to the art, and there was the "Stench of blood" when the singer married him already... And Marchen says "ALL", so she wasn't the only one... ;;?

  • is it me or it sounded like as if the wife's brothers were getting killed?

I mean there was this scream for 'brother' and a roar of rage and bluebeard laughing his head off with the lady crying.. All of these seems to imply bad

  • I do no think the wife died. Did she? I mean, her brothers and herself killed him... so how did she die? .-.

  • i wanna go to marchen concert,,,,,,,,,,,

  • Ok..so um..

call me immature I just think the lyrics was meant like this, if god had an.."opening" per say., does he mean would would rape him as well? Is that so? If not please help me understand that lyric. I think by spear, or Longinus, he means his penis, or groin.

How I always translated it was if god had a "hole" he would rape it as well. If not please help me understand. o.o

  • @Simpathal Yes, it goes more or less like this. And the word translated as 'enemy' in the lyrics avobe can also mean 'partner'. Perturbing, isn't it? hehe

  • @soichirokun in bible Jesus says to keep your enemy near of you like your pertner so you know what he will plan to you and be prepared for it XD; more perturbing for me now

  • Why do I feel that Marchen is actually disgusted with those hanging corpse?

And personally I think she is actually the 6th wife instead of the 1st one. =v= The pictures of corpse shows women who has turned to skulls and mere bones, but she still has her body intact.

Anyway, maybe there are some part which you could added to the video you didn't, but still, you are way too awesome for doing this. Long live Kurobara! >A<)9

  • @joe021093 You mean, the one before the last one? Well, maybe you're right, and actually it could be any of the dead wives who sings the story (and being the 6th the most 'recent' one, it would have sense). Anyway, since Märchen says 'you were hanged' in plural in the interlude, we can consider that the 'narrators' are all the dead wives, or just not one in particular.

Which parts did I miss? I can add them as long as you let me know ^^.

  • @soichirokun Oh, that kinda make sense, too, but all of them somehow has different voices. Maybe Minami voiced their feelings for them >v<

No, I mean like maybe some picture in some certain conversation (it doesn't that important, though). Maybe you could add about what happened to each wife when Bluebeard tortured them? (like whipping, strangled, iron maiden(?), and being drowned)

  • @soichirokun i think it might be all of them exept the first, actually^^' if you see there is a point where he seems to be saying she was killed as a witch, and thats why he was killing the other wives... but i may be wrong:P

  • @soichirokun And also by the fact that the first 5 wive's deaths were described, not the 6th so maybe she is the sixth and he leaves us to wonder how the 6th died.

  • YES! This was the one I was waiting for :D

What do you mean it's not as pretty? It's fine :D

  • Whaaat? It's fine! I think it's just as amazing.

  • Yay! I liked this one too~ Thank you so much!

  • Gueee... You say it's not as pretty as the other ? But but but... It's just amazing ! :D one more time, you did a really great and interesting job ! You couldn't make it more clearer, since there are no illustration for the 7th wife and the brothers anyway :3 thank you, really !

  • You're amazing!
