  • Ok why does everyone pull out or turn infront of him in this veido lol

  • how do these compare to the spl of your old 18? i have a bl 18 now running of a hifonics 2000 and i am thinking about getting these, but i dont know what i would gain and lose by getting the sa12s

  • @m40a3assass1n

I would say they are roughly equal. Those SA12's can take some power though, if you feed them a solid 1000rms each you will be more than satisfied. At this point I crank them up when I want to bump but on any other type of music they are phenomenal and can play any type of music. I highly recommend them if your into sql. I had a my friends powermaster battery in my car and I hit around 141 db's at 32 hertz at a MECA competition. That is in a box tuned for sq.

  • name of the song?

  • @rangeandi

Its Da Pacc by Rich Boi and its slowed and bass boosted by DJ Decaf. Google it, he made a bunch of slowed and bass boosted tracks its posted on various car audio forums and its free to download

  • name of the song???

  • What would cause imp rise? Looking to get the same setup

  • i see, but impedance rise can be caused by alot of things....

  • True, the imp rise on these two subs was greater than my previous 18inch AA Havoc. (I tested this with a voltmeter) With a 1500d wired to 1ohm I could not get much more than 400+ watts to each sub without clipping (tested with tones and an O-scope) I have 4v preouts and a pretty good understanding of what was going on. Hands down, the Orion 2500d is a beefier amp than the Sundown 1500d

  • so the 1500d is comparable to the 2500d?

  • Not at all, the 2500d was a huge upgrade. The 1500d is a beast @ .5 ohm but wired at 1ohm the imp rise was so high that my the two 12's were not even seeing 500rms each. With the 2500d i have headroom for power and do not need to worry about clipping as much.

  • welcome to the 21st century, we have shoes! :)

  • It's OK i drive with no shoes too : )
