  • Should be useful to use all this HEAT to warm the labs. This is AMAZING.

  • @mptrax I know that some data centers actually provide heating for the nearby city. That is a really cool and innovative way to make a data centers more eco-friendly.

  • @WhiteShadow2k1 No really I mean. Very good example. At this point the actual generation of technology doesn't permit more than this. In my opinion.... D.C. still waste a lot of power. TOO MUCH !

  • bet they use it for playing WOW

  • Spambot?

  • LOL i wonder if they sell any of the older racks. Just 1 of them would do me for simulating/rendering realflow scenes. Wouldnt like to see the electricity bill for hat place. LOL

  • @AZZA404 the large hadron collider ramps up to 7 trillion electron volts. most of the electricity is used in the experiments rather than the server farms. what you'd want to do is buy an empty server rack and buy a rackmount server at a time as you can afford it. since it's scalable you can keep adding servers. search for '1u server'.

  • i know everyone would store porns on them...

  • Been there, they also have a Internet Tier 1 node. very cool.
