  • Apart from that mate ur building up a nice little shack there. Great vid and good work! 26 TM 113

  • just a few comments, try and get a antenna on ur house, like an antron or silver rod. Get a better burner, a 35watt one is ok but you should be looking at 50 watts minimun on FM. Also, dont have your antennas too close to you or the pc as the radiation will effect not only you but your hard disk and cd's at tht range. Dont have ur burner on top of ur radio cos those things make heat and you dont want to be damaging your rig.

  • Since when was a MP3 player and a PDA classed as radio equipment?

  • It's not, but the PDA runs PocketDigi which I use all the time for digital mode decoding when operating mobile or portable, so it can be classed as a decoder. The MP3 player is used a lot to record and redirect audio through Bluetooth, so it again is used with the radio equipment.

    All fits together :)

  • Many thanks - it's growing - check newer videos for the newer version. Will be moving completely soon, and hope to have more equipment in the near future :) It's growing bit by bit :)

  • Welcome to you Tube! And your going to like the new icom! I have one also! Took me a long time to learn that the ALT bitton is useful when lostening to local stuff. As it picks up much more noise without it! Peace Jer
