I love this video. Uhm, is it just me or does "Jack" look A LOT like what you'd get if you mixed Dr. Steve Brule and that museum guy with the accent from Ghostbusters II? That just makes it all the more awesome!
i wanted to love the jaguar, i really did. but i bought one and a bunch of games and it did nothing more than provide a few hours of gut busting laughter as we TRIED to play UNPLAYABLE games that were supposed so show 64 bit power. i took it back the next day. i got my N64 the day it came out and mario 64.. i took it home and was totally blown away and immersed. THAT was true 64 bit hardware. sorry, i loved atrai back in the 2600 days but jag sucked and is worth nothing more that a collectible
i think atari in many ways like sega they started out fresh with teh 2600 like how sega did with the sg-1000 (master system here in the states) then they both got a little cocky and made these newer consoles such as the atari 5200 and sega with the mega drive which was a very good console but then they started making stupid things and when they finally got there act togethor as in atari with the jaguar and sega with the dreamcast no one trusted them and they both bit the dust way to soon.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD btw magnavox started the industry not atari :/
PS3 and 360 are both powered by Power PC architecture and if you had to "sum it up" they would be 64 or 128 bit. Dreamcast was powered by a 32-bit Hitachi RISC processor. XBOX a 32bit x86 Intel processor. Sony said the PS2 processor was 128-bit but It was 2x 64-bit buses and not really 128 bit. Really even 64-bit processing hasn't taken off fully yet. This is why after 64-bit this and that people stopped saying it and stuff now is so complex you can't really sum it up so easily like that.

Fun commercial. But even the 32X trounced this console in every way.
bakudandanLL 2 years ago
@bakudandanLL err no. 32X was a nice try but the Jag was plenty more technically better ( I was there... ).
Mind you, I am a fan of the 32X Virtua Racing and Star Wars.

You could split it into parts. That is what someone did for the cd-i infomercial.

how much bit are say a ps3?
volvo145 3 years ago
I'm not sure, but my guess would be over 300 bits, but what do i know.
Timecapsule2008 3 years ago
17.5 bazillion superbits, to be exact.
royalguard56 3 years ago
I don't think 7th Gen consoles can be messured with Bits. The last console I know that used bits was Dreamcast (128Bits)
snakes3425 3 years ago
I stand corrected... thankyou for the insight...that question was asked and I had no idea.
