  • wow these graphics are ancient and ugly

  • @rattoh So?

  • @rattoh go back playing your stupid cod, kid

  • @rattoh go back playing your stupid cod, kid

  • i miss the lurker in sc2

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • and all time i talk with me

    build a fcking obs

  • omg did you really not see that? did you not see that terran spelled S.R. with his marines?

  • STOP LUKU STOP LUKU STOP LUKU STOP LUKU WOOAAAAAAAHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • What the hell was that terran player thinking? I thought these guys were pros... I mean no scan, no vessels, and if you ask me, no brains.

  • @HighHemplar shutup noob

  • @dafunker00 you want to try and prove your statement? I doubt it, but if you want to try, I will reinstall broodwars and school you punk ass, just let me know.

  • as a terran player... tat was painful to watch

  • that terran SERIOUSLY sucks he was microing his marines at the time so he could've scanned easily

  • @awsumpersun321 he didn't know until it was too late... but you know better, being a progamer and all.

  • can't see shit cap'n

  • I came.

  • working as intended

  • i thought korean players are crazy...

    commentators too!

    ^ ^

  • best hold lurkers ever... just perfect

  • So u ban allied mine and fixed interceptor bug but don't ban hold lurkers and decrease storm att?

  • @lollollol136 allied mine is against the rules because u have to ally/unally, interceptor bug as u said it is a bug. hold lurkers = hold position a lurker, that's not a bug that's a feature.

  • HYDRA HYDRA SSEJRAEARRAR ARRARAR ARA!#lSDFKGJOSDIO

  • I wonder who would win if the marines had a detector with them

  • The slowmotion is EPIC ^^ xD

  • Exactly why I loved Lurkers

    WHY BLIZZARD

Just look at how sexy they once were

  • @sukarestu

they'll be back *cough* heart of the swarm *cough*

  • Comment removed

  • I bet you can not do that in SC2 !!!!

  • @therockmanxx No Lurkers ;( I hope they get a comeback in HotS.

  • @TheRawtic If u mean the campaign PROBABLY

But not in the in multiplayer as new patch units

  • @therockmanxx Baneling bombs!

  • @therockmanxx baneling landmines?

  • @therockmanxx Actually banelings could do just that.

  • @ZeroShepard everyone knows SC2 is an easier version of SC... MBS, easy kite-ing, unit use abilities one by one so you dont' need to click each unit seperately etc.etc.etc.

  • @Tim0508 i don't really see why a player should have to click each unit to cast each spell separately... sure you've artificially inflated the required amount of clicking you have to do, but i mean if that was the whole point of a real time strategy game, then just take out attack-move, and make everyone click every single unit and give a separate attack order

  • @myclamish

The point is that in SC players are still at a point where they don't have time to do everything they want, no matter how good they are. In SC2 retards like Idra can be among the best players in the world, when he was a total nobody in SC:BW.

Btw, there are still moments when you might want to select many units and make the same "spell" in SC, which takes some skill. You just don't know about the mechanics behind it. Look up "magic box", its the same mechanic as for mines.

  • How did he do it? did he select the lurkers and spam stop until the marines walked close enough?

  • @kirmokin No, did u even check the rest of the coments??

And you can totaly see he is microing his lings...

  • @kirmokin select lurkers and at least one other non-lurker unit, usually an overlord, and issue a hold position command. Lurkers don't have hold position, but mixed groups of units always do, and for whatever reason this is what lurkers do when issued a command they aren't supposed to be able to be told to do. To put them back into their normal burrowed mode, issue a stop command.

  • @Caesar512 or issue an attack order on one of enemy's buildings partially covered by fog of war while burrowed

  • @Caesar512 not really... to hold lurks like that you have to click on some of the oppenent's building in the darkness

  • @Tirvko no, just group the lurkers up with an overlord and hold position. that's how you do it

  • @Tirvko Both methods work.

  • I still have no idea what this was all about. And I used to play SC. Why did they all die?

  • @zombiemouse The Zerg player prevented his lurkers from attacking until the marines got within their range. The Terran player didn't know the lurkers were there, so he attacked the sunken colony, within the lurkers range, at which point the zerg player allowed his lurkers to attack, killing most of the marines.

  • @JuddCaster Were the lurkers invisible?

  • @zombiemouse Lurkers were burrowed; units can't see burrowed or cloaked units without the aid of a detector.

  • His face pretty much said...

    What the shit just happened

  • WTF did I just watch ? o.0

  • lol hes all leik

    ._.

  • the commentator was a front line marine.

  • u know what i love about this movie!?

FINALY some one hold the lurkers back, till the enemy was in perfect position!

    not like usual idiots!

  • thats why u scan b4 jumping a z base lol...

  • that last rine survivor was just like wtf...

  • If you look closely it actually says "69" not "65" around 0:32

  • I miss the Lurkers so much in Starcraft II. They were awesome brutal units. Just ripping through marines like butter.

  • @Kleavers Like roaches.

  • @qoralswp

Not half as cool as having a subterranean spike plow through units. Although the acid melting animation is pretty cool.

  • uhm how does one prevent the lurkers from attacking until all the marines are near enough to kill them with that few blows?

  • @schootingstarr

Actually blagger24 is wrong, he groups all of his lurkers and makes them attack a random building thats in Fog of War. Then when the troops get near he presses the Hold button to make them attack the nearby foes. Spamming 'S' is time-consuming and just a very basic way to do it.

  • Comment removed

  • @schootingstarr

mass click on a target that they cant attack(flying or out of range), like an overlord or mutalisk.

  • owned

  • and that is why you always scan before attacking the sunkens

  • Where is that scan? :-/

  • wtf

  • 0:38 Zombie alert! :)

  • WOW , fucking pwned

  • I just got a huge erection

  • 0:24 "Ohhh Shit"

  • b00m headshot!

  • would it have made more sense to put the lurkers like just in front of the sunkens? like so that the marines / medics are like sandwiched by the sunken / lurkers?

  • @franks1no The idea was tto let the sunkens die, soften up the marines, so when they push forward a little bit the lurkers would be most effective.

  • @franks1no no cuz then the m&m will just run thru sunkens and never get hit by the lurkers who are now too far from sunkens; 3 sunkens vs that many m&m.. guess who wins

  • hyun bonjwa

  • why are u explaining how to play?

if u can play so well dont diss them go and join the tournament and beat them ^^

after the move was taken its easy to be smart but when u have 0.2seconds to react ist...oh nwm

  • I totally agree with you, Sorsorsor. It's easy to say "oh, I would have done things differently" after the fact, but a lot of times these people have a very short time to react.

Mind you, I suppose he could have anticipated lurkers and used comsat, if he even had it. Though I haven't seen that game and don't know if the Terran player would have had any clue there would be lurkers.

  • Narrator and watchers : WOOOOW BLOOD!!!!

  • I just imagine it's like 2 new/inexperienced lurkers and one old grizzled lurker.

The 2 new lurkers are like "SARGE, THEY'RE ATTACKING THE SUNKENS, GIVE THE ORDER GIVE THE ORDER!"

The vet is like "Just wait for my go boys, I've been in this game a long time, I know the call"

The 2 newb lurkers are both scared and shaking and then finally the vet is like

    "ATTTAAAAAACK!"

Then the 2 newbs are like "YEEHAAAAW YOU BETTER RUN COWBOYS!!"

  • 4 Sunkens (w/ drone): 700 Minerals

    12 Zerglings: 300 Minerals

Total Loss for Zerg: 1000 minerals

    32 Marines: 1600 Minerals

    6 Medics: 300 Minerals, 150 Gas

Total Loss for Terran: 1900 Minerals, 150 Gas, The Game.

    Priceless...

  • @Sectorsophia u forgot 4 lurkers, so:

    4 hydralisk: 300 minerals, 100 gas

lurker morph: 200 minerals, 200 gas

and mutate them for lurkers: 200 minerals, 400 gas :D

So: Zerg losses: 1500 minerals, 600 gas

Terran losses: 1900 minerals, 150 gas

Well, it's priceless too, if u have at least 2 vespine geysers in your land

  • @mintalpeter The lurkers didn't die though. So Sectorsophia is correct.

  • Yes and 6x2Zerglings and 4drones are a lot faster to build than 32marines and 6 medics

  • @mintalpeter The lurkers didn't die

  • @Sectorsophia

not to mention 1000 mineral for zerg isn't the same as terran's 1000 minerals.

  • @Sectorsophia u are wrong my friend.. we dont know whether the last 2 medics died ! :DD

  • @SoXLeGeNd mutas...

  • @Sectorsophia plus map control.

  • @Sectorsophia yeah, cause clicking hold position is so hard, requires so much skill and if you do it you're such a pro.

Face it kid, zerg is the race for noobs. It's noob friendly. It's starcraft on easy mode.

  • @omuploii LMFAO... i am not a zerg player but even i have more respect for zerg then that... complicated race even more so in sc2.

  • @omuploii Either you're trolling, or you're under a C on an iCCup ladder.

  • @omuploii Trollololol

  • @Sectorsophia late reply, zerg lost a hatch there too

  • they are not crazy , SC is more popular than football in here

  • y and that not for only 1 year its like 6 years..

  • he held the lurkers. he held them and held them. then they came XD

  • rofl this is sc :D the same battle in W3 will continue for like 1 hour....

  • masacre

  • You can hold lurker by making them bury, then selecting them along with an overlord. Now press "h" or hold, and they won't attack. U can then a-click when u want to atk.

  • Fool. The biggest difference is that Lurker holding you can do in-game without any fancy tricks. Allied mines are that, allied. That is changing the game. Lurkers you could just spam stop and that isn't changing the game in any way.

  • Because allied mines change your diplomacy, lurker hold does not.

  • Allied mines??? LOL !!! Terran is allready overpowered.. tanks, mines...

Mines use game settings??? what do u mean?

  • Someone will care.... no worries.

  • how does he hold lurkers like that? obviously he wasnt allied cuz the sunks were still attacking

  • he most likely pressed stop a whole bunch of times :P

  • you have to group your burrowed lurkers with a overlord and press hold position lurker cant hold pos but if u group them with a overlord (or anyother unit that can hold position) it will cause them to glitch and u choose when u want them to start attacking

  • how to hold lurker is that you burrow your lurker, make them attack at a building thats in fog of war (The black parts of the map) and thats basically how you hold it

  • ... boxer/slayer always scan =.= its stupid not to since you can kill a lurker way faster and luker does far more dmg thens unken colony since of its aoe attack

  • funny how all the marines dies and medics only lives lol

  • holyshit D:

  • annihilation lol

  • Total pwnage.

Sea made a big mistake not scanning the sunkens prior to his attack.

  • huh, he did the attack totally blind into the base (you can tell by the first person) I wonder if he just forgot to scan i mean, it IS zerg, lurkers are always to be expected -_-

  • maaan... Sea got hot-headed in the match

if he was in his right mind-set and concentrating on the basic traps in the game... he might have scanned the sunkens... =/

  • Is it just me or did the marines spell out "65" around 0:17?

  • woah

  • LOL, nice observation

  • thats crazy!

  • yea dude! for like a split second

    then it spells 45

    incredible find kaioh

  • Creepy...

  • @KaiohFam more like 69, i would say :p

  • @KaiohFam mind blown

  • @KaiohFam 63 , 43 is what i see:p

  • @KaiohFam NO LOL ITS 69 !

  • @KaiohFam 69 for me ^^

    and 69 is also a n1 position :_P

  • @KaiohFam

what is the meaning of this??

  • @KaiohFam More like "69" on 0:17

  • it is legal you nub. allied mines isn't anymore, but stop lurker is just as legal as muta stack, archon lurker kill, mineral push, etc

  • Yes it is... I mean even you should be able to figure that out by looking at the video?

  • they angered the beasts. aruauguauruaru

  • Stop lurkers is legal and is not done by changing your diplomacy like allied mines. You simply select your lurkers, and tell them to attack an enemy building in the fog of war and for whatever reason, they will not attack. There is a second inferior way of doing this involving selecting multiple unit types.

If this "glitch" were to be illegal, hundreds of other techniques ought to be illegal as well such as stacked mutas, sending sending units through minerals, etc.

  • Hold lurker is legal, as long as you don't change your diplomacy.

  • Boxer would totally own this!

  • nope, how?

  • Really?

Then why do people use it in the proleague?

(Hold Lurker is legal, allied mines is not)

  • oh okay then. I thought they banned it the same time as allied mines. :P

  • *GASP*, you just used "jesus" and "rape" in the same sentence!

  • own3d!!!

  • All toasters toast toast!

  • Lurker just fucking wipe the whole middle

  • You'd think a proffesional would remember to scan a zerg player for lurkers. It's like a given.

  • He advanced with one control group first to check for lurkers, and it was a reasonable assumption in a high-stress game that if there were lurkers, they'd have attacked, so he brought the rest up.

  • not true..

you dont send a whole control group of mm to check for lurkers in the sunken line.. no point to a risk like that.

and the only reason why the first gruop went first is cause he a clicked several ctrl groups.. so obviously the first group goes in first...

he forgot or stupidly decided not to scan. "advanced with one control group first to check for lurkers" is just wrong

  • agreed.

  • brutal

  • You know after a moment like this for a split second you have too be thinking "I wish that @$%#@! glitch was banned!"

  • it aint a glitch.

  • Right, thx for the correction.

  • Your welcome, everyone can do this. Just hotkey your lurkers with an overlord and keep pressing H or hold.

  • I guess we can still call it a glitch tho, else the lurkers would get that hold position button themself. Its like when you add a larva or an overlord to a groupe of muta so they're all on top of each other, its legal, but its a glitch.

  • it's not a glitch

  • Best to hotkey them with a larva, does the same thing, but you won't have an overlord floating around mindlessly.

  • I use the Larva more than the ovie, but it still depends on the situation. Like if you don't have ovie speed and know that you'll keep producing units while harassing, you'll want to use all your larvas, and you wouldn't want that one larva to be used, so i guess using the ovie would be a better choice in that case.

  • You can also have your lurkers attack a building that's out of sight range and it should do the same thing without having to constantly press H.

  • This is why you always scan the sunkens :P

  • koreans have orgasm over dieing marines -_-

  • slow mo= win :)

  • Oh my god.
