the media isn't influenced by the government, but it is open to criticize the government, which is a positive thing. the government in china probably brainwashed everyone about the tiananmen square riots just as much as the american media has censored thousands of innocent deaths worldwide as a result of american government action. whether it is their CHOICE, or simply because patriotism sells, to deny that such censorship exists is ignorant. you have to look online for that shit.

No, the Americans NEVER censored the Media. The Americans has however censored secret government programs, but that is acceptable.
