Steven Tyler's Dad was in the audience that night. Steven went on to sing "Smile" with Chris Botti on trumpet to his Dad in the front row under a spotlight. Very, very moving. His Dad is an accomplished pianist taught Steven a lot about music and life.

PS - Steven was born in Yonkers, NY. After forming his band, they moved to Boston around 1970. He currently lives in Marshfield, MA and Brentwood, CA.

Were you guys even listening? This is actually a really terrible performance on Tylers behalf.

Don't get me wrong i love the guy and he's an incredible singer, but i've heard him sing this song a lot better. Maybe he was struggling with the decrease in tempo or maybe he had a cold or something, but everything was wrong here.

This was most definitely an off day or period for the man.
