@TheLifelessPlanet Dual boot Ubuntu 10.10- Windows 7 Ultimate, work hand in hand. Ubuntu does all the web browsing and what not while windows is strictly for games XD. Rofl, only morons would enter their psswrd into a random terminal, and just reading the command does not sound good. I hope that a linux user would only do it for fun, bc linux isn't your average OS. When I first starting using linux i was windows all the way, after 3 years I can do a little but most of the time, here i come 4rum

@MONTEFURIA2007 The difference is, most Linux users don't typically catch them because 95% of our software comes from trusted disto lists. What doesn't we compile and run ourselves and we read a little bit about the software we're in the process of downloading (users' comments and reviews). So, if there is a big bad Linux virus out there... it's not going to affect many people. Do a touch of research yourself before making a comment like that.

Yes, there are virus' for just about any OS out there, the thing that is different with Linux is that there are so many distros that it is impossible to write a virus that is going to affect a large enough number of people to really make a difference.

Any person who has an IQ equivalent to a rock could download a torrent of any OS and install it on to their machine. Linux is more for the secure, as the Department of Defense uses SElinux (Security Enhanced Linux) developed especially for them by the NSA (National Security Agency).
