Hey sgt.mako there's a tool you can download for cinematic cameras, you should use it instead of you in noclip in camera mode.

Whatever map it was, I can no longer find it on any mod sites. The closest thing to it out there is dm_farcry, don't know if it was by the same person but they are quite similar.

Yes, this was the first "real" movie I ever filmed, and I shot it with a very unproffesional actor. I was still new to the whole editing process and it shows. Still pretty good though, based on how long it took to make (about 4 hours, editing and all).

I also like when the antlion guard chased him into the water, would have been cool if it rammed the ladder just as he climbed it. I've been wanting gmod for a while now and I plan on getting it as soon as I get the orange box. Good job, nonetheless.

Yeah, I've kind of abandoned this series, but I may come back since I leave such a cliffhanger at the end. I would have wanted the bug to ram the ladder too, but the water was too deep, and the bug can't technically swim. Hope you get gmod soon, it's a great investment.

I'm sorta plannin on gettin orange box this weekend or a bit later after that, but I'm gettin gmod immediately afterwards. I've already got planned out what my first big project will be and I'll upload a vid when it's finished. By the way, does Gmod have its own recording system you can use or do you have to get your own? I've heard something about a "source recorder" i think. Anyways, I'll be joining you in Gmod soon, and my steam name is the same as my youtube name, so add me if you want.

I used Fraps, a third party video recording device, but you can use the source recorder which is built into all games with the source enginge. How you do so, however, and the retrieve the video files, is beyond me.

Hey i got Gmod now, and i think i may have a way of finding those source recorder video files, but i was just wondering if you knew how to activate the recorder? If you know how, then i could test it out and see if i'm right about where they are, and i'll tell you if i find out. But to test that i'd need to record something, so...yeah, lol.

I believe you activate the recorder by entering "record" in the developer console. Don't know how you stop though, I assume you just type in record again. Try binding the record command to a key.

I placed them there, using Garry's Mod 10 (or 11, w/e). The map is dm_tropics_b3 if you're looking for it.
