Steering rack noise

check the gear & linkage assy and the rack mounting insulator(rubber bushings) for any play.

not tie rods, they were replaced when my control arms were. No clue if it still makes that noise cause i haven't paid much attention to it, but i am sure it does. No adverse affects, I just keep on driving!

i have the same problem so ima replace my cv joints and steering gear boots

tie rod would be my guess
