No. However, when Renegade first debuted, WCW was trying to convince the fans that he was the Warrior. He had the same face paint, arm bands, move set, and music. He was also advertised as the "Ultimate" surprise. However, it was a poor imitation and Jimmy Hart later "repossessed" the gimmick by stripping off the face paint after he lost to Kevin Sullivan.

After that, he stopped acting like the Warrior and WCW stopped promoting him. Sadly, he took his own life after being released.
