Hard to describe, just go for it. Dont grip the neck too tightly and just flow. practice it without trying to play along to a song, just sit and slide up and down. youll get a feel for it and it'll become more natural.

Local music/concert newspapers? You can usually find them in local Mall record shops for free and they usually have a musician's classified section! Also local Jams...look for them through new friends.;-]
