If the Directors were smart, they wouldn't be wasting their time Googling themselves. Instead they could set up a Google Alert that will email them (or their subordinates) everyday (or every week) with links to new websites mentioning their name...

Which means they wouldn't see the Ads.

Nice - in the early 90s I sent faxes of letters to all the directors of the MFA programs at schools I had sent applications to, who had not replied back. I heard back from every one of them. Finding a way to cut through the communications clutter is critical.
