Leelee totally planted that idea of the concert in PR to get Sonny on her home turf and mixed-up in her fathers' affairs. She new he wouldn't be able to resists his influences and power.
I love at :53 Sonny gets excited when Brenda admits she's jealous. They were so cute together. You would never see Sonny do that today, how sad. Anyway I also love the line "As far as I'm concerned you're the only woman in this town, it must get lonely at the top." Aaah... Thank Goodness for old clips. Now I remember why I used to love Sonny.
I understan Sonny not getting excited and playful now because he's grown older and more powerful, but what I really miss beside the connection he had with Brenda is the witty, cool, and even profound things he used to say. Whoever wrote his lines gave the man style. This has definitely been lost with Guza at the helm. If this was Medieval times, we'd be chasing Guza with torches and pitchforks.
