  • What debate??? There is no debate.

One side is common sense (legalization)

The other side is plain fucking stupid. (illegaliaztion)

  • Cannabis oil cures cancer.Every president the US has had in the last 50 years know this. You remember not to long ago when a news agency said that polititians are living longer? How often do you even here about a congressman or a senator having any kind of illness.A few yes,but not many.Look at the states on chemo and radiation treatments and the longevity of the people that have to use these treatment. If we couldd grow our own pot we would not have cancer, and i don't me smoking it either.

  • @vetsaway this sounds suspiciously like a conspiracy theory. how do polticians all know about it, but not the general public?

  • Take two ounces of pot and two cups of water.Put both in a rice cooker and let cook for thirty minutes. After the thirty mins take it all out of the rice cooker and strian it through a white tee shirt.Put the liquid in the frig to let it cool.Pour the liquid into a bottle of hemp seed oil.Shake the bottle good before using.Take 2 tablespoons a day for 5 days.Your fibromyalgia and arthritis will vanish.I can't say it cured it,but it hasn't come back for a year now.Heal yourself.

  • Ethan crushed, once again Asa was left looking like a toddler in a suit.

  • It's about damn time this debate has reached critical mass, this injustice will be undone, and we will make sensible policies that do not create a prison industrial complex, but create a society that doesnt make penalties that are far worse than any consequence of substance abuse.

  • Asa = angle-side-angle

  • What about this, Mr Hutchinson, are you ready to prohibit alcohol ? Tobacco ? Both are drugs and have lethal levels of ingestion. There has never been a lethal level found for THC. What about common sense and personal freedom. I wonder if you will be having a cocktail with dinner after your debate.

  • I want to know how many people raised their hands that are opposed to legalizing cannabis. I wish they would have shown that.

  • @Murua467 Nearly everyone in the room of approx. 350 people raised their hands.

  • Ethan rocks!

  • Legalize it nation wide!

  • @prophismusic international wide!

  • Ethan is a beast on the mic, fantastic job.

  • I can't imagine that prohibition advocates will ever be able to find as many people to represent them at a debate.

  • @MrOttopants Probably because their position is less popular.

  • @MrOttopants They'll find them. You'd be amazed how cheap the cost of integrity is. There are shills willing to say anything for the right price. They have the collective sponsorship of the prison Ind. Complex, the state and local police, the federal government, and the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Hey! I was there! I was the first person to shout out "WE DO!" when Asa said there were no police officers out arresting minor offenders at about 20:30. I'm sorry that it turned into the ugly screaming match it did.

  • Asa was one of the first to support changing the disparity in crack cocaine laws.

  • Asa actually shared some common ground with Ethan. He said that non violent drug users should not be incarcerated and some positive things about medical marijuana.

  • Ethan won the debate by a landslide. Same way he did on CNN 11 years ago! Congrats!

  • Repeal prohibition, it's just not a workable plan never was never will be.

  • In America, freedom should not be debatable

  • @zumis1011 fuckin-A,bro, you said it.
