My shoulders, upper neck, and upper back are killing me. I hunch over, but it's not a posture problem. When I was smaller, the doctors thought I had scoliosis. Now I'm 12 and in constant pain. Please tell me what I should do and your personal opinions.

I think I might have mild case of scoliosis.

I'm just not sure though i have to go to the doctors and find out.

Ive noticed that one of my side is noticeably curvy on the right side than the other.

Also my right sid eof my rib cage is smaller than the other it looks like theres a piece of it missing or something ):

Hey im a 17 year old male with scoliosis....my curve is in my lower back and its at 27 when just 3 months ago it was at 20...i love to lift weights and hang out with friends and really dont want to have to use a brace...i was just wondering if it really helps..the brace that is.

I've had to wear a charleston brace at night since i was 11, and a boston since I was 12 . I turn 15 in 9 days. Its really hard for me, and the boston was not very comfortable in the begining. BUT, I am gratefull for them. If I didn't have them, my top degree would be worse than it is, a 40.1 degree. I would've needes surgery right now. It is hard, but girls can get through it. I still have to wear them, but I pray for all people who have to battle scoliosis. ♥

what type of brace?

i had a boston but found the spinecor and switch. so far the only problem i have with the spinecor is my shoulder is killing me

.. i had a ton of problems with the boston (i.e. no movement, completely uncomfortable, its really noticeable)

ya!!!..i also know that boston brace is comfortable but too bad that i do not need to wear one!!! :(

I have scoliosis and I have the boston brace they are very comfortable too.
