  • Dude, sorry but that's a totally sucky way to teach this, Me, teacher in NYC. This is old school crap, sorry! Here's what to show: the keys are either in 2 black or 3 black key group. Then you visually identify any of 12 keys by it's placement in either 2 or 3 grp. Then you play each of 12 notes, one at a time, over entire keyboard!

  • Thanx

  • NICE HAIR DUDE!

  • man this guy is talking like he is talking to a kid..

  • Haha thank you *muuuuaaaahhh on cheek* thanks so much, I took piano lessons for a year like 3 years ago and I needed to remember the keys, because my keyboard hasn't been working because i lost the cord to it, but today I got a new keyboard!

  • i thought it was a C that comes first just asking

  • Hi I really like ur method but there is one problem can u also make vids on the Keyboard Thnx!

  • Thanks for the tutorials. They're a welcome complement to lessons.

  • there is a problem.

what he said as a sharp is a flat and what he said as a flat is a sharp.

  • THANK YOU!!

  • that goes against musical theory. there is no half step between B and C. just like there is no half step between E and F. those notes are just what they are, no b flat, no c sharp. just B and C.

  • Hello there, just a friendly response to your comment. There is a B flat also refered to as A #, also there is a C# also refered to as D flat. But I think you were meant to say there is no B# or C flat. The sharps and flats depend on which way your moving along the notes. Between A and B and C and D there are accidentals, otherwise known as sharps and flats. Cheers! I think I know what you meant though!

  • this is the second video it looks like you almost say f*ck

  • A bit messy - coz i have a bad memory. But thanks, i kinda understand it after watching it for a few times :) Thanks once again.

  • good vid

    but watz ur name?

    it sounded like omarey

  • u famous peice of shitt ;]

  • ahh no i can play the piano very well and i cant read notes at all! my system goes more like "the white note on the left in the middle betweet the black keys" lol (ha i no thats confusing)

  • awesome! you cant read notes either? then how to you learn new melodies? lol. what's the way. give me the recipe! lol

  • just look up song lessons on youtube

  • a lot of ppl play instruments without reading music, its called playing by ear.

i play by ear, i just think of how a song/melody sounds and find it on the keyboard.

i want to learn how to read music to make things a bit quicker and easier.
