funny man, so those people if you give them a simple thing to do, the have no clue, huh?

  • thanks really helps me understand not just knowing them and memorising them.

  • Thank you so much for making this tutorial!

  • Wow, nice! I run a server on linode.com and always have trouble working with current directories. Even though these aren't relevant to what I work with, they will enhance the way I work on my server tenfold without a doubt. Thanks a lot! :-)

  • terrrific series, thanks. I need to access my local PC (w7) from linux PC that is connected with lan. local ip I need to access is 192.168.0.10, what steps are necessary to copy files from that machine to linux machine.

  • nice clicker were did you get it?

  • Thanks for the educational video!

  • thanks for the videos .....!!!!!!

  • nice video on commands

  • Type halt -p into the linux terminal, go on try it.

  • Linux is free and typically the servers only come with command line. For a Desktop, it is a bit extreme. It'll have similar functionality that you can get from Windows Server 2008 ($6000) or OS X ($500). Windows does really well with Active Directory and user management and, a lot of this stuff works on OS X, but good luck convincing the boss to spend the money, if you can just recycle the old Pentium III in the server closet for free for your file server. Plus GUI uses up clock cycles.

  • @technoblogical The guy that likes Windows obviously doesn't mind unemployment. Microsoft sells the software at a high price, outsources labor. A bad situation for Americans.

  • @JLA88 Windows will always rule win the consumer world. LInux and Unix is for admins and programmers. Linux rival is Unix not Windows. Windows will always win the market. Bill Gates is a damn genius.

  • @vigilhammer Well actually he is not a genius. He is rich though, and most of the sheep that call him a genius are poor. It takes some a lifetime to figure this riddle out, and some never do...

  • @WorkFromHome001 Its not a riddle actually. There are some morons who try to make it a riddle. Cause his life is an open book. There is no riddle about it...He is in the list of the most influential businessmen of the millennium. And i`m talking the top 5. And as far as sheep are concerned, well yea there are the roadside dogs who look inside the multi-billionaire company and certified billionaire geniuses`s homes and see the filthy rich and they just imagine if they cud devour them as sheep.
